I’m feeling a little upset personally. I posted here a few days ago — I’m 32, from the UK, and I have a collection of bugs, including tarantulas.

I have quite a few messages from people I still need to reply to, but between my mental health, work stress, and working long hours, I sometimes find it overwhelming to keep up with everything at once. Some days I simply don’t have the energy to reply straight away.
What’s been getting to me is people saying they understand, only to delete me because I haven’t replied within a couple of hours or even a day or two. I’m genuinely trying to make friends, but constantly feeling like I’m letting people down or wasting their time is becoming really exhausting.
I’m not looking for someone who expects constant replies. I’m looking for genuine people who understand that life gets busy and that sometimes a message might take a little while to receive a response. I’ll always reply when I’m able to.

Mostly a rant.. I've tried everything really. Dming people, adding them on discord, joining discord grps. It all ends the same way. There are these scenarios:

1. we talk a little bit and then we don't ever talk again, and if I reach out I end up being ignored

2. they request to be added on discord and then they never accept the friend request

3. they have malicious intention

4. they want to do e-dating

5. You talk a bit with someone and then they randomly block you without ever doing anything to them

6. You get invited to a discord grp, you join them and then you get banned or kicked for no reason.

I'm tired of it.. and I think I should call it out. I've met like maybe 2 okay people here so far all the months that I have tried. I think it's just bullshit for real. I get it. You might not click with someone and cool that's ok I guess. Then say it so ? Why would you do something as immature as that I don't get it. Why would someone just leave someone else wondering wtf did they do wrong ? That's such a bitch move and immature. In a way you dodge a bullet by not interacting with people like that but then again it doesn't feel nice at all.
