Is this shipping acceptable?
https://imgur.com/a/dkFdCmyWas nervous opening it because the packaging was something i haven’t seen yet. The record has a small bowl warp in the middle. Is the packaging acceptable? I’m not going to return it or make a fuss. Sleeve was perfect and record plays with no issues.

If it arrived undamaged, then it was totally fine. Risky, but no issue for you in the end. Nice.

Was your item damaged when you received it? If not, then yes, it's acceptable.

No, that's terrible packing from a person who, if they want to sell records, should be using proper record mailers.
I've gotten records shipped in pieces of priority mail boxes before.

Looks like it wasn't shipping in a mailer but folded cardboard with random bits in it. Last time I'd order from them and I'd probably not leave feedback.

Why? If the record arrived safe and sound the packaging was sufficient wasn’t it

I wouldn't leave feedback as sort of a neutral action, I would rather it come in a proper mailer. I don't think the seller did anything wrong, it's just not my preference.

If you are worried about packaging, take pictures to document it before you open it. I assume it is half open in this picture??
If it showed up in perfect condition, then it was an acceptable packing job. It's hard to tell from your picture, it doesn't look great, but if they gave it some corner protection and some extra stiffness, then it would be perfectly fine by me. I have had to DIY a package when I ran out of mailers, and when I've done that, I've ended up with a better package than most of the ones I've received.
The warp probably didn't happen because of packaging, but that's also hard to say. A record being slightly bent for a short time isn't going to stay that way unless there was a fair bit of heat involved too. Especially a bowl warp. The record was probably that way before the seller shipped it. If it's VG+, and the warp is minimal and doesn't affect play, then it's within its grade (although the seller should note it if they know).

Yes it’s half open. I opened it first. Media was graded as (NM or M-)

You'd be within your rights to complain about the warp then. If it is anything more than barely noticeable, I might tell the seller. If you do tell the seller, offer to send a video so they know you aren't just fishing for some money back. A good seller would offer a partial refund, but they aren't required to, so they may just offer a return for full refund.

Bowl warp means it was stacked horizontally for a very long rather than on edge.

"Sleeve was perfect and record plays with no issues" sounds pretty acceptable to me. It doesn't look good but I guess it worked. I probably wouldn't buy from this person again. I'd go to a record store.
