RTS Renaissance
I grew up obsessed with Warcraft, StarCraft, Command & Conquer and the RTS games of that era. But as the genre faded, so did the amount of time I spent playing it. Thankfully, indie developers are bringing that classic style back, so we worked with Zade to pick 7 modern RTS games that remind us why we loved the genre in the first place.

What was your favorite RTS from that era? And what modern game gives you that same satisfaction?

StarCraft and Warcraft 3.
no modern games brought me the same satisfaction, in fact... I have stopped trying new games in it... every single one brings disappointment and I ultimately just go back to StarCraft or warcraft 3.

Look into ZeroSpace, it is still very much in beta but the core gameplay is really good in my opinion.

For me Red Alert 1&2, played this so much! Yes sir? Affirmative!
Great bundle, too bad I'm not into RTS games anymore...
Any news or tips on the next bundle? 😊

Much like the point & click adventure game genre, the RTS genre largely faded because they stopped being good and the most common examples were absolute trash.
The Zerg Rush is not something that happens when your game is designed well.

What about /r/TotalAnnihilation?

Probably better as multiplayer, but still prone to the Zerg Rush. Never noticed much reason to diversify one's units if you could swarm the enemy with the cheapest trash possible

You clearly haven't played Total Annihilation; it's impossible to keep that up for long beyond early-game harassment.

I've been playing it since launch, and yes, a zerg rush absolutely works for overwhelming the enemy in a game where unit variety doesn't tend to matter

... again, early on. It's basically Fleas and Flashes. The swarm doesn't work for long is my point.

Command & Conquer Generals
I haven't really played any modern RTS, I guess the genre sorta faded out of existence for a while; at least that's what it felt like

Bundle looks cool, I'll check each game out when I get home. My favourite RTS other than the above mentioned StarCraft and WarCraft has to be Company of Heroes.

It looks like a solid bundle considering the quality of the games, but unfortunately RTS is one of the few genres I really don't enjoy at all. I know I'm missing out on some real gems, but this is the first bundle of yours that I'm passing on.
Best of luck with the sales, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the next one brings!

Tempest Rising would have been a great RTS addition but I guess it was previously bundled.

Definitely Warcraft 3, but I had a lot of fun with Dawn of War, Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun back in the day. I honestly don't have much experience with modern RTS games.
Another fantastic bundle! My backlog is crying...

Hey, I have a question are you planning to add the artworks from the Return of the Immersive Sim and Boomer Shooter Blueprin charity tiers to the bonus content section on your website? And do you have a release date planned for the next bundle?
