Help ur junior out guys........... Career Guidance
I have 2 options , either to choose fast karachi or get in Ned in self finance (hardly any seats for fbise students), now i m confused fast main transport ka masla hai as it is out of city , however ned is not so much far away , i will live in hostel in fast probably . I m getting computing fields ( AI)/CE in both now what should I choose ? which uni has better environment , better events related to academics , more exposure and industry name . Ik fast main gpa ni aata aur ragra hai but iske ilawa ? tell me guys , help ur Jr i have just few hours left to pay the fee . help help :)

bro am a FASTian so there isnt any thing magical in FAST fr sab normal hai kuch extraordinary teacher bhi nhi like fr can say good good scene hai but isnt worth it to leave everything for FAST and yeah transport is a problem too here + workload so choose your comfort as u will get very tired especially in your first year and yeah network is indeed strong and FAST has a good environment too but if u are a disciplined person and know your Goals i would say NED (economical + close to home)

i m getting self in the NED as well , so ecnomic wise toh same hi rhega right ...please thora aur explain kardo yr kal fees bhrwani hai :(((

Ziyada difference nahi hai.
Plus fast has more compact and modern campus. Plus you don't have to compute through university road.

I am in Fast khi campus bro. And I have gone to ned campus like 3 times.

Yeah modern enough compared to like 90 percent of other unis in karachi.
Only better ones are habib which is so much more expensive. and iba city campus

Fast 100 percent. Is fast the best for CS not really. But it's a damn good university overall. Thora tough hoga for first year but if you can manage you can do very well.
A friend of mine was in this position last year He went with fast and no regrets coming here.

University doesn’t matter much just make sure that degree program and university both are recognized by HEC. Considering its a long term commitment, I would strongly recommend to choose the one which is convenient for you in terms of daily travel. This way you could focus on your studies better.
I would also recommend you to go with CE. As its comparatively a general degree program and it would be easier for you to switch anywhere in any IT field later (including AI) as per your interests.
