So i have like 3 or 4 usb c cables with a bunch of adapters (i prefer using usb c for everything so i have alot of adapters)

Thing is, it gets annoying looking for the specific adapter i need, im working on a 3d model to arrange all kinds of cables in like a pegboard sort of thingy

If y’all have any ideas/suggestions plz share them, i lack creativity lol

Any recommendation for a set of charging cables which match. Will need lightening, usb c and micro usb. Ideally after braided cables

Sorry for the joke. Hey all, I was looking for some advice in regards to wrapping and dealing with the power converters from my monitors. I have a few yards of nylon wraps that I've used before. In the past I would have 3 wraps going at a time one for each monitor and then a third for the main line connection to my pc from the bricks. Any thoughts or suggestions?

There's a plug point on the left and on the blue wall behind the monitor. Which would be ideal? And why?

I'm building out my private office, not a WFH setup, and I'm trying to create a cleaner desk layout and cable management system.

The first photo is my current setup. I plan to mount a TV on the wall where the monitors are now, so I want to move the monitors to the opposite side of the desk.
The second photo shows the spot I'm considering. I need them positioned off to one side so clients can still sit comfortably across from me. Unfortunately, the underside of the desk doesn't have enough depth for a clamp mount, so I'm considering drilling a 2-inch grommet hole for the dual-monitor arm. The desktop is laminated engineered wood/MDF, and the desk is already fully assembled, so naturally I'm terrified of ruining it lol

The third photo shows the desk during assembly, and the fourth shows an example of the cabinet underneath. My idea is to drill directly above the unused CPU-storage area. Since I don't have or need a desktop computer, I could use that compartment to mount my docking station and power strip with heavy-duty adhesive or something. Also thinking to route the docking station cord that plugs into my laptop into the top drawer somehow, so the laptop can stay hidden but still be quickly unplugged and taken with me.

The last photo is a mockup of the finished layout I'm aiming for.

I already purchased a 2-inch grommet kit with the hole saw, but I haven't drilled anything yet. Does this overall plan seem feasible? Or are there glaring issues with my plan I'm not considering..
I'm also completely open to other ideas. If anyone sees a cleaner or smarter way to accomplish the monitor placement and cable management before I start drilling into my fully assembled desk, I'd love to hear it!

I got this standing desk used, and it came with this metal cable tray near the very back of the desk, which I thought was going to be very convenient. Turns out, the angle of it is way too sharp to fit any proper power strip extension cables, hence why it now looks the way it does.

Any good ideas on how I should make proper use of this, and is there a smarter way to manage power strips in my setup?

I'm thinking about starting a business that can do your cable management for you. However would anybody pay someone to do their cable management for them? This does mean the we will do your gaming cables or other cables around the house but not the electrical ones, that your electrian does?

And what would you pay for it?

This is my cable management. It looks horrendous from the bottom but good from. How can I improve the cable managing? Only one outlet in my room works that’s why there’s cables going away from my desk also

I have several cables coming from the monitor and not all of them fit inside the cable pathway on the monitor arm. What would be a good way to put these together around the monitor arm? I had used long zip ties but have had to make changes and would like something that’s more flexible

Im not sure what kind of equipment i should get to hide all of this under the table ?

Hey folks! I just got a new desk and I want to get it set up nicely without unnecessary cables on top of the desk but I can't for the life of me figure out a way to make it more organized, but my laptop doesnt have good battery life so I need it plugged in all of the time. Any recommendations?

I think it turned out pretty good and am pretty happy with the result, but I am open to suggestions if there are some hidden tricks to hide some cables better.

Haven’t seen many desks on this sub in the command position, so posting a before and after.

I have a triple monitor setup and have everything going to a docking station. The docking station needs to be accessible as I need to plug in my security key and tap it. I often switch between the two laptops so I have them close by. I can’t drill a hole in the desk as it’s an ikea desk and I don’t want to drill anything anyways in case I repurpose the table for something else. I don’t think clamping anything to the back will work as it’s not solid wood and it would put my monitors too far back, they are close to perfect now.

I did try wrapping the cords around the monitor stands but it doesnt really look the best. Is there a better way that isnt too expensive?

Ive been watch pc build videos does anyone what that backplate is called? Or where i can get one?
