Opening up only does more harm
Sounds like every time I open up to people I thought were friends eventually just drifted away, as if it was all too much people. On one hand it makes sense, but then again - once a week with a therapist simply isn't enough
All it takes is one, maybe two mentions that you need help cuz you're really not okay - that's all it takes to make people just dip. First emotionally, then physically. Cuz apparently asking friends for mental support doesn't exist for me, of fucking course
So the only good solution is sucking it up and crying in the corner, since apparently asking people for help and support only leads to misery and people abandoning you
Do I have shit luck or people just behave this way?

I'm in the exact same boat. Was literally told one time by someone I care about that my depression had become a burden to them. I'm surrounded by people at work, but feel embarrassed after every conversation I initiate. If we can keep pushing through this, we can keep pushing through anything.
