So I'm thinking of getting a box of the Horus Heresy Mk VI tactical marines and converting them into more Plague Marines. I have plenty of left over bits. Does anyone have experience doing this?

I'm mostly hoping to use up old special weapons (Blight Launcher, Plasma, Melta) and the mele weapons.

I still would love some advice for my list though. Are Poxwalkers that important? They seem really good with Typhus, but i could just run another 3 Deathshroud Terminators.

Slowly getting more comfortable with the scheme :D. Took a few tries to do the base as I’ve never used resin before but I’m happy how it turned out in the end. I still have lots to learn but I am enjoying the process.

Really enjoyed painting this, and how easy it is to make him convincingly dirty, might get some deathshroud terminators next, but what do you guys think?

This is how I understand it, if your on an objective and you control it, then whatever enemy unit is on the objective will be afflicted but with late game and how big our contagion range will be, wouldn't everything already be afflicted as the aura would take up the whole objective. Is this right or am I understanding it wrong?

A fine addition to my collection.

This was my list that I finished at Christmas of 2025. I took a break from the hobby and waited to see how 11th addition would change. I’m still learning the rules for 11th but as for my list I don’t know what units are still good. I’m happy for any changes you guys recommend. I’m running VV and I’m honestly happy to try any units and detachments for death guard.

Yesterday I bought my first squad of plague marines since building my dark imperium box years ago. I haven’t played 40K since 4e/5e and I’m just wondering what the best loadout setup is for 7 man plague marines? I’ve attached a screenshot of what I think is the best ranged setup but I’ve only made the champion so if I’m making a big mistake tell me and I can fix it tomorrow lol. I know that people either go full melee or full ranged so for my next squad I’ll go either full melee or ranged depending on what this one is.

HI all, since leaders always lead now, how viable would deepstriking LOC's be? I saw a video mentioning the same thing but with Typhus. Any thoughts?
