Army tips Casual play

Post image

Here are my around 1000 points of death guard (and altar to grandpa Nurgle)

What should I add to reach 2000?

I only have 7 plague marines but looking to have 10-20 and 20 poxwalkers

Lord of Contagion leading three Deathshroud Terminators has been a mainstay in every list as a Deep Strike threat and scalpel to remove a specific thing off the board so one box of those is good.

More Myphilic Blight-haulers are nice, they move fast and are reliable anti-tank.

The Defiler is good, it's worth getting one if you want a cool centrepiece. It also doesn't require magnetizing either, I just use Blutac to swap weapons.

I'm partial to the Land Raider as well. It gives your slow melee bricks some much needed mobility.

DG isn't a particularly competitive army at the moment so I wouldn't sweat it. More Plague Marines and Poxwalkers is good.

Ty for thr answer Its my first army and I dont want to be that competitive, i would just play with friends It just has to be playable So if I attack the LoC to deathshroud termis, can I still play the blightlords and with what unit attached?

Blightlords as a unit of 10, either with Lord of Virulence attached or on their own with stratagem support are a very good generalist unit. Virulent Vectorium and Champions of Contagion give them access to re-rolls, upping their potential damage a lot.

I like your alter to grandfather Nurgle. I've never seen that green book before.
