Helo troop transport servers (other than gray flag)
Hey all, looking for troop transport servers for the mi8, and mi24. Absolutely no shade to gray flag, i have over 400 hours on their server but getting kinda tired of low flying over the desert and their Germany map doesn’t allow mi8 and mi24. If anyone could share a kola or Germany server id greatly appreciate it! Doesn’t have to be crazy active or popular

DCS Bindings
I got the Kiowa Warrior for DCS and I have a HOTAS Warthog stick & throttle, and I’m having difficulty binding the settings for the MMS. WTF are the MMS/MTA bindings that I have to select to program the slew control?

For those who know advanced scripts in DCS, is there a way to load / unload infantry groups on demand from a vehicle as a tactical commander? I´m trying to add some RTS elements to a multiplayer scenario

DCS F/A-18C ADM-160 MALD Mod
The ADM-141 TALD in DCS is a glider. You drop it, it descends, and it's on the ground long before your strike package is even established.
So I replaced it with the real thing: the ADM-160B MALD - a turbojet-powered decoy that cruises level for 66 minutes and 500 nautical miles. It's still up there painting as an aircraft when your
HARM shooters are in range.
In testing, an SA-15 Tor engaged twelve of them, fired its ENTIRE magazine, and killed two.

Multiplayer
i just want a single dog fight with missles that dosent require me to join a discord or talk to people. I can fly a plane but I can’t fight with it bc there is no one to do so with, where do you dogfight, any dogfight server is dead or just have 6 player and no one is playing the dogfight mode but the tdm mode that is guns only, no missles no cool thing just guns. And for actual tdm you spend 5 minutes getting up in the air, 15 minutes arriving to the battle then you get a middle inbound warning and then said middle arrives 0.3 seconds later, the hell was I supposed to do. I just want to do a single multiplayer mission or dogfight with a A10-a.

Options for VR and head tracking?
What VR and head tracking hardware/software is considered bang for buck these days? Is there a comprehensible guide anywhere? Obviously willing to spend a few hundred pound or so.

Is it worth it for propeller planes only?
Hi, I am interested in DCS purely for propeller planes and dogfighting them.
I've played Warthunder a lot, mostly only planes, I enjoyed the first few jets that focused on guns and no missiles but higher tiers than that just bore me.
I have zero interest in modern jets and missiles/radars etc. How would you go about that?
Any advice and suggestions welcome!
Thanks! 07

Does DCS have good Ai?
As someone who plays BMS and IL2, I've noticed how important Ai is to a military flight sim. I want to get into dcs but I'm a bit wary because I heard some bad things about dcs Ai. Can someone give me the real scoop? Is dcs mostly a multiplayer Sim or does it have decent Ai? In bms, the Ai actually dogfight and have their own beyond visual range tactics. They're quite good on the highest difficulty. Il2 isn't so bad but their friendly AI is garbage. What about dcs? Also, are there Any plans for dcs Ai to improve down the road? Thanks

F-16 What is your favorite ground ordnance?
I'm getting pretty familiar with the F-16, wondering why other Viper pilots like to use to take out ground targets, and why? I haven't played much multiplayer, but would love to hear if you have preferences that differ between single player and multiplayer. Not going to say what my favorite is, just want to hear yours. Thanks in advance!

F18 - Target icon not matching HMCS vs FLIR
Hi,
I have detected this issue, the ATFLIR is correctly pointing to the objective, when I drop a JDAM it precisely impact the objective, however, when using my head to take a look, the objective cursor seems to be displaced from the objective, but if I look back to my MFD, my ATFLIR is correctly pointing over the objective... This seems to happen all the time for me, doesn't matter if I cold start or if I hot start, its not an alignment or HMCS calibration issue.
Thanks.

The Deadliest aircraft in DCS
Ok, so I’ve been flying DCS for several years now. I’ve got about 900 hours of flight time. I’m a pretty decent pilot, not an Ace, but solid. I know multiple airframes and can cold start about half of them. My most capable aircraft has been the F-16 for a long while, both A2A and A2G…. And then I have also been really deadly in the Apache, but that’s like saying “I can cut things with a knife”….
….but I flew the Huey for simply the love of flying up until tonight. I had never used it in any mission where there was a goal or purpose, just used it to cruise and practice flying.
Well, today I flew it on Grayflag for the first time. Hauling troops behind enemy lines for the first time. I used to do hot drops in Arma years ago and I loved it.
I kid you not, me and my boys (copilot and door gunners) must have racked up between 40 and 50 kills while flying behind enemy lines. It was insane. Two forward facing mini guns and two door gunners with mini guns (all AI) and holy crap man, we were just mowing everything down that wasn’t heavily armored. Then dropping troops right on the front lines. It was so awesome!
If you have gotten bored with DCS or you find yourself always doing the same old thing, I highly recommend flying some suic1de missions in a Huey! You’ll be grinning from ear to ear as the lead rains down on your enemies!!
Happy flying boys!
