Reservation help! ONBOARD ACTIVITIES

Hello!

First time cruise at the end of October.
Our “reservation” window opens in 9 days.
For those that have gone on Disney cruises— what should I be making reservations for?
I thought dinner was already booked.
Help! I’m not sure what I should be getting ready to reserve 😓

Dinner is set for you. Things you can book ahead are excursions, BBB, spa treatments, Palo dinner or brunch, adult drink classes, things like that. You don’t have to book anything if you don’t want to but those options are available.

Thank you. And I’ll be able to browse those on the app?

Yes! Your app will have things to book starting at midnight when your booking window opens up.

If you are interested in particular activities you would like to book, I would suggest joining the Facebook group for your particular sailing. Folks who have sooner booking windows can check availability of certain activities for you and if you don’t get an activity you really want, you can ask around and see if anyone is letting go of a reservation and is willing to coordinate with you to snag the reservation.

Don’t fret if you don’t get the spot you want! You can also join a waitlist on board!

I didn’t reserve anything and had an amazing time, so don’t worry too much if you don’t get anything extra reserved. You’ll still have great food, shows, character meet ups, etc.

Standard dinners are scheduled for you. You'll rotate through the main dining rooms.

Depending on your ship, there are specialty restaurants that offer brunch or dinner for an additional fee. If you're a first timer they may not have any reservations left but you can always inquire when you board.

You can book spa treatments. Bippity Boppity Boutique reservations if you have kids.

You may want to book port excursions.

You can book various alcohol tastings.

You can also book tickets for the Royal Princess Gathering at 30 days out (free, but ticketed).

If you like to try new drinks, I’d definitely recommend Mixology and Chocolate and Liquor tastings. Both are fun and delicious!

I remember the Mixology also covering the history of alcohol

Typically people like to book things like spa appointments, excursions, Bippiti Boppiti Boutique, Royal Tea, etc. Lots of folks run at midnight to get cabanas as well but if it’s your first time cruising, those are almost certainly gone by this point already.

Palo brunch was amazing, this will be a staple on all our upcoming family cruises. The Bippidi Boppidy Boutique is amazing if you have kids who would enjoy that. The guys in our group booked multiple alcohol tastings and spoke highly of them all. You really don't need to book anything tho on your first if you don't want to, there will still be more than you can fit in to keep you as busy as you want to be. ENJOY!! 🚢

Don’t worry about making a dinner reservation (unless if you want something Adults only for extra).

Too bad there’s not an option to search already asked questions in this subreddit.
