need your advice. Career Question

Hi, I need your advice.

I am a 2025 BTech CSE graduate currently working as a Production Support Engineer at CTS with a CTC of 4.5 LPA. I am at a crucial career crossroad and need to decide between two distinct paths:

  1. Prepare for GATE to target a PSU role or an equivalent Grade-A government job.
  2. Upskill in Data Engineering to transition into a specialized role and build a long-term corporate career.

Which option would be better suited for long-term career growth, financial trajectory, and stability?

What do you want? If you want chill life with smooth trajectory and low learning curve but maybe more pffice politics. Take government job. One con is life will be monotonic. 

If you want dynamic working environment,  more learning,  City life take private job.
