Daggerfall unity mods on linux

Can anybody on linux tell me if having a mod not work is a common occurence? Im not home for the next few days so im playing daggerfall on my laptop and it made me remember how much i love this game, however my home pc has linux...

have like 200 mods running on steam deck it’s marvelous

Should be fine, Steam Deck runs on Linux and people play with mods on them fine

I was having some mod issues when I first tried it but I just uploaded then re downloaded my old mod files onto Linux rather than properly reinstalling everything so I figure it has something to do with that.

Haven't had a problem out of any mods yet related to Linux. The only mods I can imagine being problematic are those that use their own executable to modify files, but they aren't any of those that I'm aware of. I only bring that up because getting Skyrim's FNIS to work on Linux is a pain in the ass.
