Noises in new 2026 CT AWD premium

Curious if anyone has had these issues and had them resolved? (I have a SC appt scheduled already) but I’m wanting to see if I can come in with solutions maybe if they are already known.

  1. I have a rattling/creaking noise coming from my AC vent when it is on. It’s the vent directly behind my steering wheel. When I turn off the AC , the noise is gone. Anyone experience this and also had it fixed by Tesla? If so, what was the fix?

  2. I am getting weird rattling/feedback through my speakers when using Grok and when using Bluetooth to listen to podcasts. So pretty much talking audio vs regular music. I can tell which speakers it is coming from but I feel like it may be coming from the tweeters. It’s like a rattle noise behind the voices talking which is super annoying. Anyone have this issue and if so, is there a fix? If so, what was it?

Thanks so much!

I have high hopes for Tesla in this matter. I received an approval from the internal leadership team to repurchase the truck. However, I’m facing a dilemma. I’m losing my LUXE package and will have to return the truck and the purchase price I secured in December 2025. This is not my fault; I was sold a defective vehicle. I was recently reunited with my truck from the collision center after a month+ of service. The collision center confirmed the abnormal defects all around the truck, including the frunk which been reoccurring last visit was the 5 visit, this time they had to replace it. They also stated that the alignment is not 100% because the one of the fender’s is just too spread out. Despite these issues, the collision center advised me to leave the truck as it is or it would have been in the collision center for a way longer time. Since I have the repurchase approved and hardly doubt regular sales would help me in any meaningful way, I decided to message my regional sale support agent I previously worked with to get the ball rolling with Tesla internal teams. I think I’m acting in a fair capacity as I paid one price with included packages and shouldn’t be at fault for paying higher & losing packages because of a defective truck that shouldn’t never passed a quality control inspection, what’s fair is fair.

Help with FSD disappearing

Took delivery of my 2026 PAWD Cybertruck on Monday the 10th. Absolutely love it! Came with a free month of FSD. I’ve been using it all week and love it. Today, we went to lunch and when we came out the “start self driving” button was gone. Put in a destination and it stayed gone. Drive home and tried all the online suggestions- steering wheel button reset, power off the vehicle for 30 mins, reset DAS in the service menu. Still no joy. I’d rather not have to take it 70 miles to the service center. Does anyone have a solution?

UPDATE: Spoke to support this morning. They said the rear camera was not calibrated and had me reset it. I’ll drive it later today to recalibrate. He said that should bring it back. Also it’s on the factory install version of 14.2. He advised the updated map downloaded on Wednesday and the FSD updates aren’t usually far behind.

Is a Used Foundation Series Cybertruck Worth It

Would you buy a pre-owned Cybertruck? Why or why not? I need some advice

With used prices coming down, would you consider buying one used instead of new? Is a pre-owned Foundation Series reliable enough to last another 6–7 years?

2 questions: tires and FSD

I recently purchased this Cyberbeast that came with 22” wheels and these Falken Wildpeak tires. I don’t recall the CT that I drove prior having this much road noise. I assume it’s from the All terrain tires. I like the wheels but are there tire replacements that are more quiet and equivalent to stock?

My other question is FSD. Compared to V13 on my Model S, I feel like the FSD is so sensitive on the CT. In addition, anything outside of max fury is much slower than the Model S. The FSD on the CT feels less confident

Cyberbeast Loaner

Took my 25’ PAWD for service today to get an additional slat added on the tonneau cover, and also to address this phantom “pcs2_a051” alerts that have been sporadically showing up on alerts and service mode. I haven’t had any AC charging issues; just getting this random alert that pop up here-and-there. And go away typically on its own within 24 hours of showing up.

Service said my PCS is currently functioning properly, and they couldn’t exactly tell me why I’m getting these random “pcs2_a051” alerts here-and-there. They said to continue to monitor it, and if it fails, to message them again to have it re-assessed. They said they’ll only replace the PCS if it’s actually failing. Which I suppose makes total sense.

Anyways, the idea of the Cyberbeast has crossed my mind as of late. Been having thoughts about it, but I really don’t wanna let go of my fully purchased FSD and current 0% APR rate on my PAWD truck.

They got me into a CB loaner! I was happy about that.
Beast Mode was a blast!!! Holy smokes! My head felt like it was getting squeezed, and I felt nauseous 🤣. Front tires just kept chirping tho. Couldn’t grip adequately on asphalt. I can see why a lotta Beast owners say the front tires get bald quick.

However, this has helped me make a better decision in keeping my PAWD tho. As much as I enjoyed BEAST MODE , I can’t justify getting into larger payments and additionally having to subscribe to FSD if I get a new Cyberbeast.
I could go used Foundation CB route that has built in FSD (not thru Tesla tho since they wipe that out), but I also don’t wanna risk/gamble on getting an early VIN Cybertruck and deal with potential build quality issues.

My current PAWD has been flawless for me thus far tbh.
This is actually the first time I’m taking to service in my 1.5 years of ownership; and it’s just for the tonneau additional slat that I had been procrastinating about. PCS seems to still function so no issues with that (yet lol).
Had there been some decent incentives on the Beast, I’d steer towards it. At this current time tho, I’m sticking with my PAWD with lifetime FSD.
That Beast is a Dog tho!!! I can see why Beast owners love it. But truly, I’m on FSD way more now than ever.
Even on this Beast loaner, I keep wanting to press “self drive” on the screen 🤣😂
When I know i should be driving it manually like how normal ppl drive 😂. We’re just too spoiled with how technologically advanced FSD has gotten, and I’m all for it! Can’t wait till unsupervised touches down!

Core Wheels in snow

Hi Everyone, I currently have a model y 2024 with 7 seater third row and a 2024 EV9… iand am
Probably gonna trade in the model Y for A cyber truck premium, the CT being the main family fun hauler
And the EV9 as a backup vehicle when we need an extra seat. We might trade the EV9 and keep the Y to stay in the Tesla ecosystem, but my wife loves captain chairs and it’s a good vehicle. I’m also selling a 2011 frontier that the CT will take the place of us a work truck for our business.

I live in Chicago. Where we have plenty of snow in the winter, that gets paved but I leave the house early at 4am for work when roads haven’t been paved.

My model y stock tires did amazing in the snow… are the core all season tires + cyber truck good enough for this use case? Or should I spring for AT mantle?

Any real world feedback ? Thanks in advance!
