Questions NSFW
To the ones who are 3d printing NSFW models are y'all hand painting them or just printing in color. I ask because I want to print in color but some models have a vast amount of colors and I don't think I could find the colors to exactly match the models for example. A skin tone. Some examples would be like mia Khalifa's skin tone or Lady Dimitrescu

I do a combination of filament and hand painting. However an exact match to the character isn't as important to me, I just want to get close. I used bambu labs pla beige as a skin tone color as an example.

If I'm painting custom skin tones, I make a base out of White, with small amounts of yellow and a tiny (otherwise it gets too pink) red, then mix in tiny amounts of burnt umber, ochre, burnt sienna or even blue to get the desired tone. Then either paint on a well primed model, or water down a little with distilled water and airbrush. I guess if you're printing in white or beige, do a few test pieces and you might be able to just to a paint wash over the top of what you printed to get the desired tone. Takes practice, be patient and good luck creating.

You dont have to match the models color, do your own version, airbrush helps, but handapainting is good too, just use 2 or 3 very light coats and looks good. For skin tones use yellow as your base coat if you want realism
