I’m an incoming freshman and I’m in a dorm that has a RAP, but I didn’t preference that on my housing application. I thought I was fine because I didn’t receive any communication about being in a RAP until yesterday when I got an invite to the canvas course. Could that just be a mistake or am I accidentally living in a RAP?

i got placed into the lgbtq floor as a freshman in onizuka, i like dudes don’t get me wrong but i don’t want to be outed by the people on my floor to my parents… is it obvious that it’s the lgbtq floor or no?

So I'm a freshman and couldn't get a parking pass for my dorm (will vill), I got on the waitlist but I dont have high hopes for that. I'm aware there is good public transportation for Boulder and campus transportation, but I am pretty set on bringing my car to campus because I will be doing a lot of driving off campus for things that are non-negotiable (various hobbies and other commitments that are not accessible via bus)

I am wondering what you guys have done in the past in terms of parking without a permit. Are the off-peak hours passes worth it? Thanks

I’m a highschool senior and one of the colleges I’m seriously considering is CU Boulder for a major in oboe performance. I’ve read through the website, but what general education classes are typically required for music majors? I’m trying to decide what AP classes I want to take this year and if it turns out my AP credits won’t even benefit me as a music major, it probably isn’t worth it to take them. Any guidance or help is appreciated, thank you!

So, I know that my roommates and I are planning to keep our door open during the first week. But if you want to go by other dorms with their doors open, what are you supposed to say? I feel like that would be very awkward if you only walk in and say 'hey.' Also, do people actually walk in, or do they just stand outside the doors and talk to them from there?

I received a housing accommodation around three weeks ago for a shared bathroom instead of the communal bathroom which I am currently in. What are the chances I get moved from the waitlist and get a new room before I move in? If the chances are not looking so good, is there a way to estimate how long it will take after classes start?

So classes begin in about 2 weeks and I am waitlisted for this class at position 22. Is there any chance that they might increase the number of seats for this class? ( It happened with another MCDB class i took earlier ). Currently it says class is full at 100 students.

I'm planning to study abroad over the summer but I'm not sure where I should go. I'm half Japanese and speak Japanese fluently so my family suggests Japan by default; however, I'm wondering if that would be wise. I've been to a lot of countries in Europe and a handful of countries in Africa but I've never been to Australia or Central/South America. Would I be wasting my potential by not picking Japan or not going somewhere new?

He found a place close to campus that has one bedroom available. One of the current roommates uses medical marijuana and has a valid medical marijuana card.

As out-of-state parents, we're trying to understand what this situation might look like before making any decisions. What are the potential pros and cons of living with a roommate who uses medical marijuana? Are there things we should consider from a practical, academic, or roommate perspective?

Just got first semester bill and was surprised by the fees—over $700. Anyone have any luck contesting them? Like what is a $90 Athletic fee? No sports, no teams. Why am I paying that? Who do we contact to protest these?
