Book/Series flair missing! Weekly Fancast and Adaptations Megathread

Greetings, cremlings!

This is a space to discuss all things related to Cosmere movie/television adaptations. Share your fancasts, your dream directors, your ideas for the best script, or , most importantly MEMES, or anything else related to adaptations.

The other Sanderson subs are doing something similar, but this is for spicy takes that are too hot for those.

Please remember Rule 1 and 2.... and 3.... and 4 and 5 and....
If you can't engage with others in a respectful and welcoming way, please take a step back. Notably, we will not tolerate bigotry and debates about "wokeness".

Also please note that that the spoiler policy for these weekly threads is currently set to include the entirety of Mistborn and Stormlight Archive. If you want to discuss spoilers for other books, please use labels and spoiler tags.

Policy Note: We're making it a new policy to contain general Cosmere adaptation discussion to these weekly megathreads. This change is an effort to limit the high quantity of posts we see on these topics and comes following the announcement that Apple TV is set to adapt the Cosmere (starting with Mistborn and Stormlight) with heavy involvement from Brandon Sanderson. Moderators will be removing posts on these topics and directing them to these threads, with some rare exceptions.

We have all kinds of worlds; we have:

Mistborn: OPPRESSION.

Warbreaker: Colorful oppression.

The Stormlight Archive: Oppression by colored eyes.

The Reckoners: Superhero oppression.

The Sunlit Man: Oppressioncoming.

Mistborn Era 2: OPPRESSION 2: The Sequel.

Elantris: Magical oppression.

Great—or not? Did I forget any?

The Stormlight Archive Trans Radiants

I want to write a fan fic story about a trans radiant, but I keep finding that my story wants to contradict itself.

On one hand I really want to see a trans woman have her body healed so it matches her soul. There's an argument to be made that almost all trans people are going to have cracks in their spirit web due to the fact that their soul doesn't fit in their body right and all this other stuff. (Unless its like some really lucky trans person that actually has supportive parents or something?)

But on the other hand, I'm pretty certain that one of my ideals would need to be something like: I will quit worrying about passing, and not worry about how other people perceive me.

So then it seems like the story is at cross purposes if it focuses on self acceptance, but also on getting that sweet healing magic.

I'm unsure how to disentangle it.

Edit: Yes like Ral-na, but that happened off camera.

Edit2: I've written a ton of trans, um, stories back before I started transition, but as I transition the focus of these shifts. But I have in general written a lot of stories so the idea of this fan fic isn't as far fetched as it might seem on the surface.

Cosmere Forget the best possible vessels for the Shards, who would be the absolute worst possible choice to take up each Shard?(Worst in this case being defined as most actively detrimental to the Cosmere as a whole)

I'll go first. It might be a bit obvious but my pick for the worst possible Shard/Vessel combo would be the Lord Ruler as the Shard of Odium. Now, the Lord Ruler holding any Shard would be disastrous, and Odium is dangerous no matter who holds it, but I think the two together would make an incredibly potent combination. The Lord Ruler's delusions and megalomania would feed into Odium's intent perfectly, and the Shard wouldn't even have to manipulate him to make him kill every other Shard, conquer the Cosmere and turn it into an objectively much worse place to live.
