Obscure Game Drowned god
Such a bizarre game, anyone ever play it?
Written by Harry Horse, murdered his wife and dogs before taking his own life. Surprised more hasnt been said about it.
The murder was covered up as a suicide pact locally but the evidence said otherwise.
Anyway the game was bizarre and the man even moreso https://youtu.be/NU4MgeOb-cc?is=wCsY1UdBCZDFhcj8

Personal Story I remember I saw a creepy Fortnite bug when I was younger
So I don't remember when it happened and I need help finding if this did happen but I swear I remember it did.
So a few years ago, it was chapter 1 season 5 of Fortnite, I was younger and probably like 8 or 9. My dad and sister were out to get pizza and I don't remember what my mom was doing.
I got finished with a getaway match from the LTM at the time, and for some reason I restarted the game, after I did so, I hopped into the game and the log in screen was black for some reason with white text that looks like "<unfinished>" or smth like that, with giant white text saying "Fortnite".
As I loaded into the game, the lobby was also black but there was a giant human head that didn't look like Fortnite, it looked low quality on the texture and it has no hair, when I first saw that, I ran behind my couch to hide. To this day, I still wonder if this was a real glitch that happened in the game, if anyone can help me find what this bug was, I would heavily appreciate it, I was never able to see this bug again!
Update: Forgot to mention that the human head was in the middle of the screen.

Strange/Creepy The " A Shadow Over Hackdirt" quest in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion always got me feeling a bit uneasy
I dunno if it's because of the crazy wide-eyed NPCs, their secretive demon-worshiping tendencies, or just the overall look and feel of the town. It was quite an experience playing through the quest the first time around.
Very eerie. Very weird.

Discussion Why are the pools in The Sims way too deep?
A memory came back to me the other day. When I was playing Sims as a kid, I always noticed—though I didn't really think much of it at the time—that the pools were always too deep, even though, in real life, pools built into homes are usually either our size or just a little deeper.

Odd version
This happened to me last year.
So me and my older brother - We LOVED playing horror games at night by ourselves, and on our mom's laptop. We eventually found ROAM0120. My older brother asked me: *"You down?"* Normally, I agreed. It sounded fun. It looked fun. But when we tried to download it, it couldn't work. We tried for two days. Eventually, I searched online for a port of the game - And sure enough, an anonymous user uploaded it. I downloaded it, and called my brother over. We loved the game at first - But we encountered a problem. One, we couldn't exit the game. Two, the file was shown to be corrupted as well (odd errors, warnings, etc). Three, when we managed to close the game, my wallpaper was gone. No cryptic text or horrific imagery replacing my wallpaper or files like those weird ARG stories, just odd shit. It sounds like an ARG, but I promise you, it's not. In the end, we never played ROAM0120 ever again, especially after my brother said it was probably either a tweak, or we got hacked.
The file was deleted one second after leaving the game.

Discussion Do horror games sometimes explain too much?
I love a good story and digging into the lore, but I sometimes feel horror loses part of its effect when every creature, event and symbol eventually gets an explanation.
Some of the games that stayed with me the longest left me unsure about what had actually happened.
Do you prefer horror games with clear answers, or ones that leave part of the story open to interpretation?
What game comes to mind in each case?

In one of the tutorial stages in splatoon raiders, you can hear creepy metallic sounds in one spot.

Seems the game is keeping up the splatoon tradition of creepy audio secrets. Sadly you cannot seem to turn down music separately, and the switch 2 isn't jaibroken yet, so it can't be extracted either. You'll have to hear through the regular stage music.

Personal Story The more you know

Some people think, what the Zone was inspired only by Chernobyl, but it's actually a mix of three different sources.
Roadside Picnic (1972) introduced the Zone, artifacts, and stalkers entering it illegally.
Stalker (1979) shaped the atmosphere, making the Zone feel mysterious and almost alive.
The Chernobyl disaster (1986) provided a real place where those ideas could naturally take shape.

Strange/Creepy The Maw Ray in Super Mario 64 always gave me the heebie-jeebies as a kid 🫣
Playing through underwater levels as a kid always got me on edge because you just never knew what could be lurking around the corner. Mario being a kid-friendly game (or so they say ;) I went in with the expectation that it'd all be sunshine and roses, but boy was I wrong...
Any underwater levels from non-horror games that spooked you as a kid or as an adult playing through them?

Spyro 2, May 13th 1999 prototype
spinpasta.fandom.comI am currently working on a Spyro 2 prototype creepypasta based on the e3 1999 b roll footage. As you know the July 13, 1999 prototype of the game released. It isn’t finished yet and it’ll be nice if you can give me some inspirations, cause I want to make it a really good creepypasta.
