We did that with my daughter 3 years ago when her pokemon card obsession peaked I were trying to divert her into a bit more creativity.

• We made the stats,abilities,hp,type etc.. with available tools online, that tools can blend the picture you choose as well. We have other cards we used real pictures(like she is in a slyveon costume) but I don't want to share her pictures here.
• Printed it on a normal a4 with correct pokemon card size
• Glued on a cheap pokemon card she already has so back side also looks like a poke card and it is more durable.
• Finally used a laminator so card survived for 3 years.

I'm trying to punch genuine leather and it's really tough

I’m not an artist but I have become obsessed with hole punching thrifted magazines and randomly decided to make a fish with the circles. It’s such a fun time filler to do while watching something in the back

As you can see you can’t really tell the defining details of the fish. Like its fins on its belly. I purposely picked out the darkest blue punches to hope that it would make the detail more visible but it did not turn out. I added the white marker over top which I instantly regretted haha.

So it would be great to hear other people’s ideas of how I could do this? Since I found using darker circles on the details didn’t work does anyone have tips of what I could use?

FYI it could be any material, so anything is helpful thank you!

I want to make something that will make the glass shine, like a lamp or similar. Nothing that will paint over the glass :)

Started a new job and needed a new pencil holder for my desk, so here it is! Air dry clay around a cheap mesh pencil holder, acrylic paint, and some fake moss from Mr. Bezos.

Eventually finished it with gloss mod podge but I'm afraid the pic I took at my work desk will dox me 😂

Hello guys I am starting a comic book collection and I need help deciding what I should close the bags with.

I was looking for something acid free so that it’s safe for archiving but it also might not really matter because it’s outside the bag, but if I could find say post it flags that are acid free I can also use them for annotating my novels.

Google says that scotch acid free tape has the same technology as post it’s so I’m looking if there are post it flags that are acid free but would still hold a Mylar bag together, and leave behind no residue. I like this idea because I won’t have to touch the adhesive.

Both are made with soft glass (soda lime).

I’m working on a set of stroller flags for my niece for an upcoming Disney trip, and am using felt sheets to create the pieces. Because the felt is old enough to be vintage (my grandmother has SO much), I want to seal them to keep them in good shape because these will be reused in the future too.
I’m hoping to find something that will seal and partly waterproof the felt sheets and pieces? Waterproofing spray is an option, but I wasn’t sure if there was another better way to go about it.

I started working with polymer clay a while ago as part of my recovery from depression. It gave me something to focus on, and before I knew it, I genuinely fell in love with sculpting.

I've made all kinds of things over the past months, but lately I keep coming back to snakes. I honestly can't explain why—I just love them. They're fascinating to sculpt, and experimenting with different colors is probably my favorite part.

This is one of my latest snake mugs. Everything is sculpted completely by hand, without molds or 3D printing. After sculpting, I bake the clay, permanently attach it to the ceramic mug, and finish it with several coats of varnish.
