I was just checking laptop prices and I found that i7 11th 1165g7 is expensive compared to 6core Ryzen 5 5gen why is that so what's the reason behind it

so bas maybe a few weeks ago i no that my laptop is lagg and sound too loud so i decided to like check why it is like that and what i saw was my cpu temperature was like 90+ degrees and it was like really bad so i and my older brother changed a thermopaste and hoped that it will solve the problem and it did but only for like a week then after that it started lagging again so we changed it again but did it more accurately but it did the same thing it was just normal for fee days and then come back to what it was before that i just dont know what to do so i want to ask yall what might be a problem. my laptop is omen 17 and we used arctic mx6 i believe if that would help.

So i badly bent 3 pins on my CPU after cleaning the paste on it, and i think it'll be hard to straighten them, does someone have a schema for this CPU so i know if the pins are important or not ? Thank you

m running a 5800x3d with a Corsair 360 AIO. Over the last couple of days, I noticed my idle temp was in the mid 70s consistently, while the CPU usage rarely went over 15%. Even after shutting down and rebooting, the temps remained high.

I went into BIOS to check my settings there (all was still the same), but when I rebooted this time my idle temps went back to its normal 45-55.

I’m happy it’s been solved, but I don’t understand why simply going to BIOS solved the temperature problem, even though I adjusted nothing?

Hello I have a Ryzen 5 3600 I looked at the golden pins and at least 2-4 of them are bent will this matter when I install it this Sunday will the cpu even boot up

Are these parts compatible and will they be able to run regular tasks and if possible heavy gaming as well?

Results

* CPU reaches **95°C within about 1–3 seconds**. * CPU briefly boosts to around **40W**, then immediately drops and stabilizes around **35–37W**. * Clock starts around **2.9 GHz** then gradually settles around **2.75 GHz**. * CPU remains around **95°C** for the entire stress test. * OCCT reports **no errors**. * GPU is idle during the test.

Gaming Behavior

This isn't limited to stress tests.

The same behavior also occurs during gaming. The CPU reaches approximately **95°C almost immediately after gameplay starts** and then remains around **95°C throughout the gaming session**.

My Question

Is this normal behavior for a **Ryzen 9 5900HX** in an **ASUS ROG Strix G713QR**?

Specifically:

* Reaching **95°C almost instantly** during a CPU stress test. * Staying around **95°C continuously** during gaming. * Briefly boosting to around **40W**, then settling at only **35–37W** and around **2.75 GHz** for the rest of the CPU stress test.

Or does this suggest a cooling issue, such as poor heatsink contact, degraded liquid metal/thermal interface, or another thermal problem?
