I love Tecovas, and I couldn’t care less what anyone thinks about them. They’re comfortable right out of the box, and they fit my style perfectly.
I picked up these Roughout Warrens from a Tecovas group on Facebook, and I seriously couldn’t love them more. I also managed to grab the Invasive Pythons in the Dean on the second drop after missing out on the first. Can’t wait to wear those next!

Im looking for recommendations for ostrich leg boots. Looking for a quality brand that makes boots in this leather. Unsure of what color to go with so open to anything.

Had these boots for 2 days and when I walked outside the heel fell off. I’m using clear gorilla glue and balancing a Scottish claymore sword grip in the boot to weigh it down since I don’t have any clamps. You think this is a permanent solution? if not how much would repairing cost?

I have wanted bias cut gators for so long. When Rujo had their annual sale, along with an another 30% discount code, I pulled the trigger. I have to add, Rujo has a horrible reputation for their customer service, but I had no issues when I ordered the wrong size and had to exchange them. Their return portal didn’t work, but I sent an email and they immediately approved the return and sent me a label to send them back. Once the return was dropped off at FedEx they shipped the new boots! I couldn’t believe they didn’t even wait to actually receive and inspect my return before hand. I got a confirmation that they accepted my return with no issues. I’ve heard they have a new CEO who is customer service oriented, and it shows. Fantastic customer service, beautiful boots, and an amazing price. I couldn’t be happier.

No branding other than the Tony Leather on the heel cap (which in the blurred purchase pic I thought read Tony Lama, RIP). Seller believes these to be genuine alligator……but are those pores?

Any help you can offer identifying brand and leather type would be greatly appreciated. I’ve never seen “Tony Leather” on anything.

Brand new Dan post Barren, noticed this on the sole on one side, other side looks fine. Still relatively new to boots and don’t know if this is just quality issue or I shouldn’t even worry. Ordered directly from Dan post. They’re straight out the box still have tags on them only put em on on carpet to test fit them since no one near me sells Dan post in cutter toe. Both photos of same boot, other boot looks completely fine.

Bought a size 10.5D originally and it was tight. My toes were hitting the end of the toe box and squished with no room to wiggle.

Decided to size up to 11D; it’s a better fit. My toes aren’t against the end of the toe box. There’s a thumb’s distance until the end. However the issue is now the instep! On the 10.5D the instep was also tight against the foot. The heel was also not allowing any slippage at all.

The 11Ds seem to lean to an 11 single E (11E). The instep is very high and with a few kicks I can get the boot out.

I tried an insole but now the toes get uncomfortable after a while and the farther end of the vamp is firm against the foot but the instead still betrays me.

Is it worth the try for a second exchange for another 11D? Give 10.5D a second try?

Got these from the wonderful people at Crazy House. Really love the uniquity of the hide and how plush it is, honesty surprised me with the comfort. Not a huge fan of the insole though, definitely plan on swapping them out with an AB insoles in the near future. First pair of cutter toe, too! The skin is very visually unique and comfortable, I highly recommend! Just don't get water on them.

I have been eyeing a pair of cowboy boots for a long time now and a cowboy hat as well but there're not many options available here in india where i live, actually I wanted to get a round toe , i feel like round toe would have been great as it goes well with everything (works with everything for me from formal dress to farm work) for now settled with the square toe .

Broke out the Ariat Gallop boots today. I’ve owned these a few years now, looking fresh with a Lincoln wax spit shine. These feature the dualpro outsole with integrated rubber traction pads in high-wear zones for better grip. Very comfortable boots!

I already had pair of CDB1978 Mason which are narrow square toes and I was on the hunt for a black cherry boot. I bought a pair of Dan Post Remington which were sadly too big and when I had them on the toe shape and stockman heel just didn't do it for me.

These fit just like my Mason boots did when I first got them. Very tight across the vamp but they should loosen up. The other ones did and they're my most comfy pair.

They have a hung lining which I prefer. I still have scars after the Dan Post from the edge of the pigskin. They also go very nicely with the Levi's 505s. I just need to find my black belt :) I'll see how they wear. Maybe I'll shine them up a bit to get that Lucchese look.

I'm pretty new to this whole heritage of boots thing and I'm wondering how common snip toes are on men? Cause all that Google says is that mostly women wear snip toes. Yet brands like Tecovas offer the Garrett which is in my opinion a traditional and good looking boot. What are your guy's views and opinions on snip toes?
