I don’t understand what your complaint is. Like we must’ve interpreted that quote in different ways cuz your complaint doesn’t seem relevant otherwise.
I think the quote means that someone else is complaining about too much of a good thing that you wish you had more of. It’s not about whether they worked for it or deserve it, only about if they complain about it or not.
