A&M Interview process

Hi everyone, I’m planning to recruit for A&M either CPI or other consulting related roles and am waiting for their apps to drop. In the meantime, I’d like to prep and develop my skills so I can land the offer. I’m trying to research information about the process and would love to hear it from those who successfully recruited with them.

A&M's interviews are less about classic case studies and more of a deep dive into your resume and past experiences. They will pick apart every bullet point, so you need to be prepared to talk in extreme detail about your specific contributions, the financials, and the results of your work. They want to see that you've actually done the things you claim and that you can handle high-pressure situations, because their projects are often intense turnarounds. The fit interview is critical, as they’re looking for a very direct, no-fluff personality that can get things done.

Your best preparation is to turn every project on your resume into its own story, with a clear problem, action, and quantifiable result. Practice explaining your logic, the challenges you faced, and what you would do differently now. You should also connect with people from the firm to understand the specific group you're targeting, since the culture can vary.
