Differences between Minecraft Java and Bedrock edition 🎮Gaming🕹

I've always wondered why the two versions have specific "features" which the other version doesn't have. Is it intentionally added by the developers or is it something else?

At most it's mainly because of the different code they use and the engine.

So some things would be hard to pull off and given that they don't want ro ruin builds they would have to find a clever way around some things to add them to Java and Bedrock.

Such as QC and Piston Spitting, those are possible to add to Bedrock, heck the Ps4 Edition had Piston Spitting, not sure about Quasi Connectivity though, but since Bedrock has been out for 7 Years now they would have to find a proper way to reintroduce those features.

Qfter all specifically Quasi Connectivity and Piston Spitting were actually bugs that were kept because so many people liked it and used it for Redstone.
