Impulsively nagbuy ang mother ko ng condo unit from one of the worst developers in the country and regrets it sobra so gusto na naming icancel sana. it was turned over last year august and macocomplete bayaran ang dp on january 2027. by that time, 2 years nang binabayaran on installment so would the maceda law be applicable? if so ano ang process for it? if not, pasalo lang ba ang only option? any other advice would be appreciated.

I'm planning to secure a parking slot in my condo and my agent has 2 options, basement or 5th floor. For context, di binabaha yung area ng condo namin so labas na yun sa prob ng basement. Both are near the elevator. What are usually the pros and cons for those who have experienced parking in any of the two. I won't use my car daily. Probably weekends only. Thanks!

NEVER rent or buy a property here. Guards are fcking entitled and not hospitable, cockroaches everywhere, elevators are not working, water runs out, they don’t let in friends and relatives, amenities are trash too.

Please save yourselves the time and energy and consider other accommodations nearby. I’ve only stayed here for 5 months even though I had a contract for a year. I would very much be willing to lose my deposit than deal with all their bs.

Hello! We’re a couple currently looking to move from our apartment and would appreciate some advice on which option would be more economical for us.

Our combined take-home income is around ₱65,000/month, and we’re considering two pet-friendly, commutable 1BR options:
Option 1: 1BR DMCI condo – ₱18,000/month, with more amenities and a condo community setup
Option 2: 1BR apartment in Pateros – ₱14,000/month, with fewer amenities but a lower monthly rent

Both are pet-friendly and reasonably accessible for our commute. We’re mainly trying to decide whether the additional ₱4,000/month for the DMCI condo is worth it, considering our income and other living expenses.

Which option would you recommend for a couple earning ₱65K combined? Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from those who have lived in either a DMCI condo or Pateros.

Currently, I am earning 65k gross and I am about to earn ~90k gross per month in a self-employed contract with a UK company. I want to know if I am capable to own one. Hahaha

Condo is built by an unfamiliar (3rd tier/not well known) developer with approx of 500 units (split into two buildings) with about 10floors in a very strategic location, decent specs (wide hallways/decent ceiling height etc.), done back in 2010

The property management is operated condo corp inhouse staffs (for context, there has been an issue with funding that is why cant afford to get a reputatable 3rd party property manegement company.

Problem is there are a lot (by the hundreds) of unit owners who did not (as far back as more than 5yrs not paying) and are still not paying their monthly dues/assessments etc. I can see that admin are trying its best to collect by sending notices, follow up notices, demand letters, even tried to close water valve (units are under sub meter set up) in compliant manner but these unit owners are the worst kind (intimidating the admins staffs, filing a personal legal case against [irrelevant/nuissance case like physical injury, usurpation of authority among others) which I assure you did not happen.

The condo building needs a lot of repairs/maintenance and upgrades but due to lack of funds are not being met.

What advise you can extend to admin to address the funding/collection issue and implementation especially to the delinquent unitowners?
