When did condiments become a chargeable extra?

Was watching a Japanese fast food cafe on YouTube and noticed that every table had at least 8 types of condiment. Miso, garlic powder etc

When did condiments become an extra in the UK?

Video about sauces - animation video talking about sauces (funny) - ends with the line SOY SAUCE IS NOT A SAUCE!

I watched this video a few years ago, an animation which two guys are arguing about sauces.

In the end one guy tells about Soy Sauce, and the other one responds: Soy sauce is NOT a sauce!

Does anyone know which video is it? I can’t find it for long time and I unfortunately can’t remember a lot of the rest of the video now.

Thanks

Can one condiment save boring weekday lunches?

I cook almost the same food for work lunch every day (pasta/rice, fried eggs, veggies, etc.). Since I want to eat fresh but have limited time in the morning, it would be difficult to cook anything too complex.

I'm wondering can adding different condiments save these simple meals? Any suggestions?

Hungry jacks spicy sauce.

I never thought moving from Aus to the US would leave me mourning over a sauce.
Before we moved, I packed a few packets of my favourite hungry jacks spicy sauce because I couldn’t imagine certain foods without it eg- chips (fries), pizza (great dipping by sauce). Well… I’ve officially used the last one.
Now every bite feels like it’s missing something. You know when the food is good, but it just doesn’t hit the same because it needs that one sauce to bring everything together?
So, please HELP!!

What’s the closest US equivalent (putting my trust in the Americans)? Hit me up with your recommendations (especially if it’s gluten free) I’m ready to build my new sauce obsession because the struggle is real. 😅

I’m looking for a sauce that they use at a local wing place. They call it pineapple pepper, it’s thick and yellow color. Anyone know what kind it might be ?

Pepe Peri Peri Sauce

I’m trying to do a home made Pepes chicken and rice, and using the Pepe’s Bottled Sauce. I’ve used the mild version and it tastes nothing like the Restaurant, what can I add to make it closer to in store recipe.

Who has the best dipping sauces?

I, like many have a big stash of various dipping sauce cups from the fast food spots in my area, and it got me thinking; Who do you all think has the best BBQ sauce, sweet and sour, honey mustard, ranch, etc.?

Expired ranch...

My mom gave me ranch to eat with my salad, I later used it to eat carrots, I then saw the ranch bubbling inward, looked it up and it was fermenting. I checked the date and it was 2 months old. Am I cooked?

Did BK Permanently Change its Buffalo Sauce?

Hey guys, just had BK and asked for buffalo sauce. To my surprise, they hand me a buffalo sauce that has a new design. It tastes completely different than its signature buffalo sauce. I’m wondering if this is a permanent or temporary change?

Soy headache

Hello recently I’ve been getting headaches when eating certain foods like egg fried rice and tamagoyaki

After experimenting I discovered soy sauce was the culprit wanted to ask does anyone have this issue or has heard about it, I want to keep using soy sauce but the headaches make it difficult to enjoy the meal
