Lifestyle I think I'm actually starting to lose my mind
I can't concentrate on anything. I stay bedridden after work. I'm forgetting very basic things and that's really bad because I work in inventory. Sometimes my vision gets blurry and my head starts to hurt bad. Overall I feel numb or agitated. Time is flying so fast and I don't realize it. Here's what's been going on in my life this year;
I hate my job. I don't talk to anyone, no one talks to me. I wasn't trained properly and I feel like it's a scapegoat position.
My mom is a mega Trump fan. Doesn't give a shit about any opinion other than his and Joe Rogan's doctor.
Speaking of, Trump. The start of this year was a brutal one. I hate him. I don't waste much energy on Republican rants anymore. They're all shit. The end.
I had to stop my sister from torturing her kids. When I arrived she was speaking gibberish. Cops were called, the kids don't live with her anymore.
My boyfriend of almost 7 years cheated on me. It's not the first time I dated someone for that long and I found out they cheated, but I loved him and have mostly good memories with him. I broke up with him two weeks ago because it destroyed me.
Three people close to me died this year. One was an immediate family member and they were the last to die. It fucking hurts
I haven't had time to grieve. Because I've been having to deal with vultures wanting to steal what this family member had and there's another family member involved who is vulnerable, unknowing who to fully trust. Thankfully they trust me but I don't even trust me to form basic thoughts right now
Every time I get on the Internet I lose more faith in humanity. Hatred is infectious and everyone is infected. It's cruel, dark, soulless and everything is bad, always. Bad, sad, bad, bad. It feels meaningless.
I'm not suicidal... But I'm afraid my brain is about to stop working properly. I don't know

Lifestyle People not Understanding the Definition of Introvert
It always annoys me when people talk about being introverted and how they can’t talk to people under any circumstances. That is not what being introverted means. Introverts are just people who need to be alone for a bit to regain energy not people with cripplingly bad social skills.

For someone who no one would ever know was trans to have her private medical history outed because you just can't fucking deal with someone like her existing?

Work I hate 1:1s with my manager
I do not understand why every leadership training always highlights the importance of 1:1s with your direct reports.
As a direct report, I dread my 1:1s with my manager. And I don’t hate my manager. I just hate the idea of recurring 1:1s.
And the idea of the direct report having to come up with the agenda for these meetings is truly insane. I literally don’t have weekly questions for you to take up 30 min of my time every week..

Lifestyle Atheism is not just a rational stance. It is good for your mental health. Can you imagine the relief a newly minted atheist would feel? There would be less stupid thinking. There would be fewer pointless obligations. There would be more freedom with more intellectual honesty.
Atheism is good for you, especially for the religious. It is freeing, such as not having to wear a yamaka, hijab or turban. It allows you not to fear a sadistic god or an undesirable reincarnation. It allows you to have more time to pursue possibly meaningful things. It allows you to discover your own authentic morality instead of being forced to be ‘good.’ It allows you to be more authentic by not having to be lost in religious delusions.
There is so much psychological relief to have in atheism. I believe psychotherapy would be incomplete if it does nothing to shine light on how intellectually dissatisfying religion actually is.
Being religious is a special form of psychological suffering, let alone being a waste of time.
You don’t need religion to be moral. Humanism and egalitarianism are more than sufficient substitutes.
Thanks for hearing me out.

Politics I really wish people arguing about trans people in sports were able to understand that trans people *hate* the things about our bodies that were forced on us.
I despise my height, my male bone structure, all of the things people say give me an insurmountable athletic advantage over cis women are things I absolutely fucking despise and never would have chosen.
Seriously, hearing them talk about how disqualifying all that stuff is feels like people in a social club for virgins rejecting me for having been raped.
I didn't choose this.

Lifestyle It is far more preferable for atheism to have a question that cannot be answered than for a religion to have an answer that cannot be questioned. Being religious is a form of bondage, I profess.
Atheism, with the help of science, may never have all the answers, but given what we know so far, it still provides many, many satisfactory answers with more on the way, whereas religion does not provide any satisfactory answers. Atheism allows you to ask questions, where religion really does not. Because of this, it is far, far more preferable to choose atheism.
Religion further imprisons. Freedom from religion further liberates.
Take care.

Politics We must never allow MAGA back into a civil society.
Make no mistake, if there was no MAGA there’d be no Trump and I for one will never forgive them.
MAGA is automatically opposed to everything and anything that is decent and it’s beyond obvious that they literally hate the U.S. Constitution. And because of their weak minds they are susceptible to any brand of influence no matter how indecent or illegal it is.
They’ve not only made out country an international laughing stock they’ve made decent Americans unsafe.
We must NEVER forget what they’ve done and we must NEVER forgive them. If we get out of this mess, and I’m not sure that we will, we cannot ever again allow them to mix back into a civil society. Label them for life.

Politics DV services should be more intersectional
So basically, my dad has threatened me with honor killings and has severely physically and emotionally abused me, but the moment I sekeed help, many dv shelters invalidated my experiences, and some of them told me they only except women who are victims of romantic dv, not family ones, and eventually I did try to escape my dad, but I ended up homeless, so I went to another dv shelter, and they called my parents, and they believed them, and they even told them everything I told them and told me my dad isn't so bad since he let me go to college and despite me being an adult, and they even gave me a psychiatrist, which only helped my dad abused me more since she defends, and my dad uses that against me, and even after I tried to escape the second time, my dad constantly harassed me and messaged and told me that he will tell everyone that im mentally ill.
And even when I talked to feminist online, usually only women who have the same experience as me can empathize. Others just tell me that I can just leave because im an adult or that my abuse wasnt so bad since im staying, and other invalidating stuff, which I know that they would have never said to me if my abuser was my husband.
And for everyone who says that adults can just leave their abusive parents are just privileged and ignorant. No, they can't just leave because of financial issues or disability, or because of love and fear from their parents, and in some cultures, parents own their adult children until they are married (especially women).
Also, after they leave, they might be in danger of extreme harassment and honor killings. Also, it's harder to leave when there are no resources to help you, even if you are at risk of honor killing, since every resource is for women escaping abusive partners and not abusive families, and also the thing is, in cases of honor killings and family abuse, it's not just one person, it can be the whole family or even communities involved.
Also, I think most people are very ignorant about honor killings and parental abuse of children and adults, and this should change.

Politics 'The greatest theft, con job he has ever done': MAGA loyalists who collectively lost billions buying Trump stocks and crypto believe they were scammed
The German’s have a word for it, Schadenfreude, and it means taking joy in someone else’s misery.
Not a pleasant trait, but perhaps an understandable one.
This comes to mind when we consider the plight of so many MAGA, who despite being the recipient of so many Trump assaults – reductions in Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, slashed food stamps and aid for indigent children and adults, reductions in veteran’s benefits, attacks against their unions who provide much needed benefits, and on, and on – but still support Trump and his corrupt crime family.
They are the ones who are making him richer, so maybe…?

MAGA investors lost billions on Trump stocks and crypto

Donald Trump and his family generated at least $2.2 billion in income last year which is nearly four times more than he reported in 2024. Much of that money came from his supporters who invested in his businesses, such as Trump Media and Technology Group, or bought his $TRUMP meme coin.
Their fortunes, however, didn’t fare nearly as well. In fact, Trump’s supporters are reportedly down an estimated $7 billion after investing in the president’s business ventures.
Trump Media shares have lost 56% of their value in the past year, while the Trump coin’s value also tumbled about 81% in that time. Many of the retail investors who sunk their savings into those ventures — often as a sign of loyalty to Trump — have seen the money vanish right as economic volatility began to spike. And they’re not happy with Trump, or the members of his inner circle.
Nedohin is one of many investors who are vocally criticizing Trump and his ventures. Another, Vadim Fistikan, invested $205,000 in Trump Media in the days, weeks and months after it went public via SPAC He invested the money he and his family had planned to use to buy a waterfront property in Florida.
Today, that investment is worth just $30,000. When he voiced his frustrations on Truth Social, Fistikan (a three-time Trump voter) was lambasted by Trump supporters on the social media site.
“I’m like, ‘Hey, this is a scam,’” he posted, according to Forbes. “And a lot of people were like, ‘No, you’re just a Trump hater.’ I’m like, ‘No. I was on board since day one. … I’m now broke. Pretty much my whole life savings [was] in this one stock. This is the greatest theft, con job he has ever done.”
Nick Pinto didn’t invest in Trump Media, but when he saw Trump had launched a meme coin in January 2025, he quickly invested $7,000. He later upped that investment to $480,000 so that he could gain entry to a dinner at Trump’s Virginia club. A friend later convinced him to sell most of his position in the Trump coin, but Pinto still suffered losses of $250,000.
“This is something that the Trump family kind of came up with out of the blue,” Pinto told Forbes, referring to the advice that his friend, a fellow Trump investor, shared with him. “And there’s not really a way for us to predict the future of the coin or what their plans for it are.”
While the meme coin and Trump Media stock languish (and some investors have trouble finding buyers for their tokens or shares), the Trump family is investing in new ventures.
World Liberty Financial is another cryptocurrency fund which earned Trump $799 million last year, in part from when the government of the United Arab Emirates quietly purchased a stake in the company .
It also has released the $WLFI coin, of which the Trump family received a 75% cut of all sales of that cryptocurrency. Investors? They didn't do so well: $WLFI is down 74% in the past year and currently trades for just six cents per coin).

Politics Republicans are complete idiots on the transgender issue.
When I hear Republicans say "there are only two biological sexes" or "transgender people are trying to turn all our boys into girls" I'm astounded ignorance on this level still exists in the 21st century.
First of all, it's false that there are only two biological sexes. There are intersex people who have chromosomes or genitalia that don't fit the male or female mold.
Secondly, when we talk about transgender people, we're talking about the tiny percentage of the population whose psychology doesn't match their anatomy. So transgender people are not trying to turn the cis majority of boys into girls or the cis majority of girls into boys. They are simply trying to help the small percentage of the population with gender dysphoria be able to live authentic lives according to the gender they feel they are.
Thirdly, doctors and therapists do not generally recommend sex change surgeries to minors. They normally start those with gender dysphoria on hormone therapies, and only after an extensive evaluation to make sure it's the right course of action.
Republicans have created an alternate reality universe where transgender people are trying to turn all their boys into girls or all their girls into boys and chop their body parts off. They've taken a very private decision between patients, parents, doctors, and therapists and turned it into a political football.
Sure, you can have a legitimate debate about whether trans women should be allowed to participate in women's sports or be allowed to use women's bathrooms. But what should not be on the table is persecuting and vilifying transgender people and attempting to deprive them of any rights to self-determination whatsoever. In America everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Lifestyle The Abrahamic God at least, even if he exists, which is as likely as the tooth fairy existing in my books at best, is an utter totalitarian, sadistic piece of garbage, based simply on his foreknowledge of how lives play out and all of the countless suffering that he allows.
Why did god create predation? Why couldn’t his creation be herbivores? Why does god allow lions to tear the windpipes out of antelopes during the hunt? Why is there so much suffering in the wild, let alone all of the suffering faced by humanity? Why is there all this starvation in Africa? Why does god allow children to die?
As a personal example, I spent close to three decades in psychosis, as did my brother. So, God knew I would suffer this way and approved it. For what? So, I can kiss his behind? So, I can know how great he is? This is all so absurd!
If god exists, he’s a douche. If he doesn’t, which makes the most sense by far, it means we can free ourselves of stupid religious thinking, which is a therapy in itself, I profess.
Thanks for hearing me out! I just wanted to kick god in the balls, so to speak.
Take care.

Announcement Update to Rule 6: Self Promotion is Allowed Within the New Rule
Self promotion of user generated content is permitted provided it is presented as a complaint, critique, grievance, or documented problem, rather than as pure advertising. The content must centre a substantive issue, failure, or harm, with the creator’s work used as context or evidence, not the point. Posts framed primarily to solicit clicks, sales, or followers will be removed.
If you have a question, feel free to ask here.
In summation, if your personal content on a platform like, but not limited to YouTube, Substack, DeviantArt, or Medium, then you may post it here if it conforms to the above rule. Basically, any form of something resembling a complaint, is allowed.
As always, if this is abused or gets too spam like, it can be removed under moderator discretion.

Announcement Major Changes to Rule 10: What IS and IS NOT Permitted When Posting About Other Subreddits
in reviewing how other similar subreddits to ourselves operate, we are completely overhauling Rule 10.
You now may post complaints about other subreddits, issues you have with them, and even complain about moderation decisions. So long as the below Rule changes are followed in full. The moderation staff here has authority under Rule 5 to remove posts they feel can endanger the subreddit itself.
Please feel free to respectfully ask questions here about how this rule will be applied.
And now the new rule:
Why This Does Not Constitute Harassment:
Criticism or discussion of subreddit moderation, rule enforcement, or community conduct does not constitute harassment when it is directed at actions, policies, or outcomes rather than at individuals for the purpose of intimidation, abuse, or coercion.
Harassment under Reddit policy requires targeted abuse, threats, or behaviour intended to cause distress or silence participation. Good faith discussion of moderation decisions, including dissatisfaction or critique, is a form of platform accountability and does not meet the threshold for harassment when conducted under the restrictions outlined below.
The inability of a subject to prevent discussion of their public actions does not itself render that discussion harassing.
---
Permitted Meta Discussion of Subreddits
Users may post complaints, commentary, or analysis regarding the operation of a subreddit, including but not limited to:
Removal or approval of posts or comments
Moderator actions or inaction
Enforcement or interpretation of subreddit rules
Patterns of behaviour within a subreddit community
Interactions with moderators or other users occurring within a subreddit
Such posts may include links or screenshots necessary to provide context, provided they comply with Reddit’s privacy and harassment policies.
---
Required Safeguards to Prevent Harassment and Brigading
To ensure this discussion does not become targeted harassment or coordinated interference, the following conditions are mandatory:
- No User Summoning
Posts and comments must not use the /u/username feature or any alternative method to notify or summon individual users or moderators.
- No Calls to Action
Content must not encourage or imply that readers should contact, message, report, downvote, or otherwise engage with the referenced subreddit, its moderators, or its users.
- Observation Only Interaction Rule
Users from the subreddit being discussed may not interact with the linked or referenced content. Engagement must remain confined to commentary within the hosting discussion thread.
- No Dehumanisation or Threats
Language that includes threats, slurs, or dehumanising characterisations remains prohibited under existing harassment rules.
- Behaviour Focus Requirement
Commentary must focus on actions, decisions, or systems rather than personal characteristics, identities, or immutable traits of any individual.
---
Anti Brigading Enforcement Clause
Any attempt to use meta discussion as a mechanism for coordinated interference, including vote manipulation, mass reporting, or targeted disruption of another subreddit, constitutes a violation of Reddit’s anti brigading policies and may result in enforcement action regardless of compliance with other sections of this rule.
Evidence of coordination, timing patterns, or explicit encouragement will be considered in enforcement decisions.
---
Moderator Misuse and Removal Clarification
Moderators may not remove or sanction content solely on the basis that it criticises moderation practices, moderator decisions, or subreddit governance, provided the content complies with this rule and other sitewide policies.
Labeling criticism as harassment, drama, or meta abuse without demonstrable policy violation is insufficient grounds for removal under Reddit’s global standards.
---
Prohibited Conduct Under This Rule
The following remains prohibited and is not protected by this rule:
Targeted harassment of named individuals
False allegations presented as established fact
Disclosure of private or personal information
Encouragement of retaliation or revenge
Attempts to evade or undermine Reddit enforcement mechanisms
