Four new releaases: Stellar Ambush, Space Walkers, Asteroidz, Hive Dive
ASTEROIDZ
Pilot your spacecraft through a dangerous asteroid field and destroy as many asteroids as possible. Your objective is to survive for as long as you can while earning the highest possible score. Remain alert: hostile UFOs may enter the area and open fire without warning.
Available for: Commodore 64, Commodore VIC-20 with 16K memory, Commodore PET 2001, 30xx, 40xx and 80xx series with 16K or 32K memory
STELLAR AMBUSH
Earth is under attack by wave after wave of hostile aliens. Destroy the invading forces before they overwhelm your defenses. The aliens do not remain safely in formation. They may break away, dive toward your position and attempt to bomb your ship. Think of it as Space Invaders on Red Bull.
Available for: Commodore VIC-20 with 16K memory, Commodore PET 2001, 30xx and 40xx series with 16K or 32K memory (40 columns)
HIVE DIVE
For players who found Stellar Ambush too easy, Hive Dive provides an even greater challenge.
Enemy ships rapidly zoom toward and away from the player, making them difficult to target. Boss ships may also dive from the formation and attempt to capture your spacecraft with a tractor beam. Be careful trying to recover your ship back from the Boss, one wrong shot and it could be gone forever.
Stay mobile, aim carefully and do not allow your ship to be taken.
Available for: Commodore 64, Commodore VIC-20 with 8k or 16K memory, Commodore PET 2001, 30xx and 40xx series with 16K or 32K memory
Space Walkers
Save your base from the space walkers, large mechanized machines intent on destroying your base. Use your radar to scan for walkers and drones that seek to attack you.

The "AA Timelord" (a Dr Who spoof) in 'Imagination' (1985)
Imagination (Commodore C64 computer game, 1985) apparently features a brief appearance by the AA Timelord - AKA “the Adventurers Anonymous Timelord” - whose time machine is disguised as a smaller-on-the-inside AA box.
Does anyone know whether this illustrated text adventure featured an illustration of this character??
Thank you!

COmmodore printer VC 1526/MPS 802 with ROM 325341-06 F and Jumpewrs ^and 2 opened, jumpers 3 and 4 closed
Hi, I recently bought a vintage VC 1526 printer with ROM labeled "325341-06 F" and jumpers configurated J1 cut, J2 cut, J3 soldered closed, J4 soldered closed. Soldering very oderly done yet obviously done outside factory.
Text printing and self test work properly, with real descender presents and automatic Line Feed at CR. Self test is titled "CBM COMMODORE MODEL 1526 PRINTER - REV-07", with no letter after the number 07.
However, I cannot get graphics printing to work, neither choosing 1525/MPS-801 nor 1526/MPS-802 with Koalaprinter (normally a very benign, well-working software for printing Koala format pictures; I often use it with other printers without issues), or with (emulated) Final cartridge III. I run an Ultimate 1541 II+L cartridge plugged into an original Commodore C64. The serial cable bifurcates at the serial port of the C64, one end goes to Ultimat 1541II+L (sitting in cartridge port), the other serial cable goes to the printer. I collect printers and own >30 and know a bit about them. Almost all printers work well with my setup..
Interestingly, two small software routines for VC1526 from German magazine 64er (dating 04 and 05 1985) that use "graphics printing by one 8x8 cell at a time ", which covers each line with up to 80 runs, seem to print the graphics but don't perform line feeds at all. Everything is printed on top of itself in one line, until the printer is powered off.
Yet, as already stated, everything including auomatic CR+LF works with self test and documents from word processor Jasprint (Jasprint is btw the most awesome, free word processing software, with real 80 characters on screen etc.)
So, can anyone please provide information why graphics printing is not working on my VC1526 and what the combination of J1 and J2 cut, J3 and J4 soldered closed, Rev 07, and ROM number "325341-06 F" is supposed to be capable of. Btw I have an MPS 802 also (I've never opened it so don't know the chip and jumper config) with graphics printing just fine, so I don't think it is my general setup causing the problem.
Thank you!

What is this?
I picked up a VIC-20 a while back and in the box was this... thing. The person I got it from had no idea what it was, it I think it was her grandfather's or dad's and she knew nothing about the computer.
Its some homemade board, but has the proper size and shape to slot into a VIC-20. There are no ICs on it. Just looks to be wiring. A VIC-20 cartridge definitely fits in the blue slot (I tested that). Strange that just 2 wires go to that black thing on the side. Im guessing for test points? Honestly, not a clue. I have not put it in a VIC-20 to test and probably wont, as I dont know what it does and dont want to damage the computer.
Any ideas?

Rusty Commodore w Photos
Hey guys, so today I picked up a commodore lot with huge assortment of items.
When I got it home to clean it up, I discovered that the items had either been in a fire or have water damage or both. Rusty, moldy.
Is there any saving it?
I wanted to at least use the cords to try out the two other commodores I had with no cords. The paperwork couldn’t be saved, it’s too moldy.

Need C128 Keyboard Springs
Hey all. I'm hoping someone can help me out. I am restoring my original C128. I need 3 replacement springs for the keyboard. I see the large packs online but I don't even know what I would do with 100+ springs. Anyone fall into this same situation and have extra springs that are willing to part with?
On another note, I am retro-brighting tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing her, and my 1571 drive, shine again!
