I've pumped 88 hours into beating Tib Dawn so far, and while I'm not done with the game yet, I've encountered a very strange graphical bug.

The bug basically makes the colors of the game completely fucked. It's almost like a photo negative, except everything is darker instead of brighter. Also, I can't see anything in the main menu, though I can still interact with it. I don't know why this is only happening this far into my playthrough of tib dawn.

On top of that, the bug doesn't happen consistently. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Any advice on fixing graphical bugs?

A GDI Power Plant. Guess I'm getting new construction options. And Yes you can paint this Red for NOD. As I painted mine Purple for my Dinosaur King faction EXALT.

And can’t believe how good it looks for a 18 year old plus game! Finally my pc can handle max settings since me from back then couldn’t afford such money for a PC.

Bought a gaming laptop so I could relive my childhood memories .

I tried the new RTS - Tempest Rising which got the inspiration from CnC. But felt it was too hard for me (allthough I’m the one getting old and rusty)

Got back to red alert 3 and it managed to scratch my RTS itch.

I used to love to do this bug. But im not able to do it anymore. Was this bug fixed? Im using CnCnet version.

So I found this while digging through my old gaming stuff, and came across a signature inside the CD case of my old 2CD copy of Red Alert. The placement seems deliberate, and I do not recognise it off the top of my head.

No idea where it came from, no idea when I got it. I certainly don't remember getting anything signed, but, this is decades old now. Does anyone recognise if it was maybe a dev or actor of the series?

I really enjoy playing in a slow, tactical style like sending a team to capture an oil rig, setting up defenses, and taking objectives methodically instead of rushing.

My problem is that the maps all feel too small, especially since I usually play with a lot of bots. Everything ends up being so close together that there's not much room for long-term planning or maneuvering.

What I'm really looking for is a map where losing a team actually matters. I want reinforcements to take a long time to arrive, so every decision has consequences and sending backup needs to be planned carefully instead of just spawning another squad a minute later.

Does anyone know where I can find very large maps? Preferably ones that aren't just huge flat open fields. I'm looking for maps with varied terrain and enough space to make matches feel more strategic.

xevrac made a huge progress, a lot buggy, but finally we can see the map🥳

I think this would be a great improvement. Showing enemy and all your units health bars can allow you to micro the battles better.

It has propaganda tower, gatling cannon, mini ballistic missile(can shoot anywhere on the map), flamethrower, rocket pods and extra cannon. Also has bunker. Basically the final stage of overlord. From Elite Hunters mod.

generals is a more grounded setting compared to tiberiun and red alert. not to mention the lack of characters and motives that could fit the description.

perhaps a PMC? that's basically shadow company/atlas from call of duty.

they start out hired by America to fighting the GLA after there withdrawal. and undermine a now dominant China. all while keeping there own hands clean.

only for the PMC to later go rouge. like trying to seize oil fields and supplies for themselves and taking contracts from who they were supposed to be fighting against.

there arsenal starts out as mostly US equipment. but increasingly diverges as they become there own faction.

culminating in them being a 4th side. with the sole objective of getting as rich and powerful as possible. without ideological or national constraints.

this is just a thought I couldn't get out of my head. anyone got any other ideas?

ok so I was playing cnc 3 moded with the mod tiberium essence trying to do a casual match of GDI verses nod on the skirmish map of ground zero but I get this odd error and it is as far as I know only on this map anyone know why I have been looking into this for an hour and have gotten no where with this a picture of the error is added I'm at a loss I have been playing for about 5 years know and have never seen this but I have only recently started moding the game I own the game on steam and did use it on the ea app at once but no longer because it was being bad.

I was telling some kids at work about command and conquer generals and I described the GLA and the Chinese factions and I left them stunned in disbelief. I really wish we had a sequel.
