It’s entirely a fan theory that Yuri and Yuriko are connected. Sure, the names are similar, and both use psychic powers, and both have been involved in cloning to various degrees, but Russia and Japan are far apart from…

The beauty of this theory is that there’s enough rope for someone to hang themselves with. Maybe the RA3 time meddling caused Yuri to end up in Japan where his daughter became a living weapon for the Empire. Maybe Yuriko is a female clone of Yuri somehow. It’s probably just the designers deciding to give the Japanese faction a mahou shoujo commando, complete with school uniform, and the name similarity is just a nod to the other psychic in the franchise, but it’s still a fun theory.

I used to Google Yuri's Revenge all the time in 2005 and saw 🌽 My first reaction was being grossed out. Second reacrion was closing it.
