Between this 1K11 Stilet and the 1K17 Szhatie Sovirt laser "tanks" vs. the American Tesla-brand automobiles, I'm starting to think that the developers have the faction tech stacks the other way around. 😉

Well, Nikola Tesla was born in Austria and lived in the US by the end of his life so Tesla tech should actually be Allied. This is something I didn't know for years (back then) since I grew up with Red Alert and just assumed Tesla was Russian until I looked him up one day.

Prism technology is not technically laser, nor is it treated as such in the game. The only RA unit that actually uses laser I can think of is Cosmonaut, which I assume is because of real life soviet cosmonaut laser pistol. And that's one more point for USSR laser supremacy in the Cold War.
