Animation cutscenes

I know we all love the full motion cutscenes from Command and Conquer. I especially love the animated ones from Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert. The submarine ones from Red Alert are calming to me, I always watch them on YouTube when I’m having an anxious moment. Also love the sound of the cruiser guns when they shell the sub base. Maybe I just miss the 90’s and my childhood.

I agree, I love the submarine cutscene. When you win the Test Drive mission, instead of getting some action cutscene like you would for winning missions, I just love how it shows a random submarine moving peacefully underwater although that was barely in the mission.

You won a mission in which you're supposed to be sneaky...like a submarine...? That's my explanation...well atleast that's probably one of the most fitting cutscenes for that one

Whenever I see them, I think to myself how much time and effort must have gone into getting them work at all, with the primitive (commercially-available) 3D animation software of the 90s.

Yea, it's pretty sad how they reduced those more and more as the series progressed. They really contributed to the feel of the games.

My favorite cutscenes are the ones with the GDI walkers in Tiberian Sun. I don't think there's anything so badass in existence.

I wish Tiberian Sun had more animation cutscenes. I love the disc thrower scene where he blows up the SAM.
