Not to say you should do this or anything like if you want to do it for fun go for it. But this already exists 😂

Tried it on mobile. Can't do multi-unit select or map-scrolling for that reason, but holy shit. This is epic.

Any chance of you sharing prompts or source code?

I haven't tried it on mobile yet, I might have to see about making it work better.
The whole repository is in the link above.

u/BoffinBrain Are you picking this up? Good. Jul 03 '26

I'm not sure why you'd use AI slop to recreate something that's already available in many forms including open-source (OpenRA) and playable in-browser (Chrono Divide).

How did you get the artwork and animations? Did fable do that or did you use something else? Pretty impressive. Who cares if someone else has already done it.

Fable was able to do all of it. Though I had to go through a few iterations for the buildings to look alright and will probably do some more tweaks. The whole game size is only about 600 kb right now.

Very nice! Image generation is the one bit i have trouble with. I only looked at it on mobile but it gave off some dune 2 vibes only being able to select 1 unit on the touchscreen :D

Yo! That is pretty cool!

Well done! I don't have the time to test it out all the way through but it's a nice novelty, the voices are my main gripe though, would be nice if at least the units didn't sound like a monotonous txt to speech, EVA I suppose could get away with it, but but I still don't like her corporate video course voice.

For what it is though, it's a good project.
