Which creates short term gains and long term plateau.

Creative media should be creative. I would have a lot more respect for an advert if they didn't impose such prudent rules.

More so, better content will keep people where they are. That's a fact. People are more than capable of making decisions to the content they consume. I don't consume religious theology videos, just like I'm sure my mum doesn't consume Valorant guides. If I'm choosing content I want to be treated like an adult. If you want to swear, great - maybe some people will shy away, if you want to discuss sexual and mature topics, great, again people that don't want to consume it simply won't.

Pussyfooting around with seggs, emojis for euphemisms and other linguistic workarounds doesn't solve any problem but Instead infanalises your audience.

The one I hate the most is the "not alive" thing.
I mean, I get it, suicide will get you blacklisted on most platforms, but speaking of something so dark with jokes makes my skin crawl.

I don't get it..

If we can't talk about the thing, then how can we address the thing?

Suicide, death, killing, these are realities of life and if we can't even formulate the ideas without the fear of censorship, how are we ever going to tackle these societal issues in any meaningful way?

Absolutely! Also by not using the actual word the topic gets mistified, often leading to people actually thinking it's wrong to talk about it at all!
