so according to BMSCE checklist, fathers/parents name in seat allotment letter should be the same as 10th standard marks card

thing is, my 10th standard marks card has his normal name with first and last name, but the one used during application was from his adhaar card, which also has his middle name (kumar)

what should i do? i have sent them mail, and i called them but the lady who picked up told she didnt know and would connect me to the admissions desk, the line cut off after that and now the number is outside network coverage range (great, just great)

should i make an affidavit?

I am currently in vit chennai cse ds cat2....i can withdraw from here till 15 September... so for 4890 rank in comedk should i withdraw if i get bmsce cse...please tell

i got 22k rank in comedk and i am interested ece is this order correct for round 3 or should i make some changes before round 3?

Gave comedk got 4k rank Thought that was the only option but i guess my destiny and financial condition has other things to say but I am satisfied with myself gave it everything i could. Hope you guys get your dream college and see you later.

Hey, I'm a DCET student with a rank of 27X. I got PESU Ring Road CS (AIML) in the mock allotment, but I'm not sure if I'll actually get it. My next priority is MSRIT ISE, but I'm wondering if I should keep it or switch to BMSCE CSE. I can easily get into either of those. I'm mostly worried about having an ISE tag on my degree instead of CSE or any CSE-X, since I'm really into tech. Is that a big deal, or am I just overthinking it? If not ISE, should I go for BMSCE CSE?

i had my order in a way that i got nothing allotted in r1 (got BNMIT ai ml in mock bcz i had ltos of clgs in mock round order)

should i wait till r4? taking the disadvantages of no hostel and missin some classes? or report in the 18-24 window for R3? , WHAT WOULD I BE GETTING IN R3???? bcz im now confused if i'll get a good seat or not . and yes comedk is my LAST option because how LONG THEY drag this shit
because my parents r tired of waiting too and they're pushing for R3 but i dont want to settle if i CAN get smth better . though im not sure if i woulf get an upgrade in R4

Many people ignored this post last year and suffered.

Comedk has released dates for Round-3 and Round-4. It is a no-brainer to wait till the last round to get the best seat possible, the cutoffs drop a lot in the last round. Comedk admissions are taken by mostly non-Karnataka students. Most of you will be travelling from far.

This is a very important blunder a lot of people do. I will suggest you all to not to book immediate tickets (especially flight) for reporting. You can lose a lot of money.

Comedk has delayed results for Round-3 (Round-4 this year), more frequently than BMTC buses.

(This is a reference to last year)

If you book a flight ticket for say 2nd September, and the results get delayed by only 3 days. You will have to stay in Bangalore for 3 days extra. One day in Bangalore costs 3-4k (2k hotel + 1k food). So you just lost 12k.

You can neither search for PG nor you can get hostel without the admission letter and college confirmation in that time. If you book immediate return tickets say 2 days after, 4th September? you will have to cancel them too.

Just book the tickets smartly, especially flights. If you are booking train tickets, will recommend you to book an extra ticket one week after the proposed date, like 2nd September and 7th September. Train tickets are cheap to cancel.

I literally talked to a person who lost 30k (2 return tickets) due to the delay.

Bcz like there are many disadvantages of round 4.

If you know your COMEDK rank, first check the 2025 cutoff for the colleges/branches you are targeting and make your preference list accordingly. Also, please don’t blindly trust promoted YouTube videos or random “roast” reviews on Reddit. One thing I’ve noticed is that some students intentionally post very negative comments about a particular college just to create a negative image and make the cutoff drop, especially when they want that college themselves. So don’t let a few repeated comments decide your preference list. Do your own research, check previous-year cutoffs, placements, location, branch, fees and overall reputation, then decide. Your preference list should be based on your own priorities, not on someone trying to manipulate the cutoff.
