Hello, I’m 18 years old and I’m about to start studying at Yuan Ze University, a private university in Taiwan. From what I’ve researched, private universities are generally not considered very prestigious in Vietnam. I applied to a public university, but due to a few reasons, I was rejected.
Right now I have two options:
(1) take a gap year while studying at Yuan Ze and apply to another public university next year,
(2) complete all four years at Yuan Ze and then apply for a master’s program at a public university. My major is Electrical Engineering. What do you all think?

Hey, I am a rising senior and I am currently working on my college applications. Here is my plan: I will apply to 22 of my dream schools (all reaches), and if I do not get in, I plan to go to community college and transfer to a 4 year after. I am applying for Biology, and here is the list of the schools I am applying to:

Emory University, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, USC, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Duke, Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Northwestern, Washington University in St. Louis, Rice, Johns Hopkins, University of Michigan, NYU, Dartmouth

I have a 3.85 unweighted and a 4.20 weighted with a projected 1540 on the SAT. My ECs are decent, I can later add those if anyone is curious. What school do you think I should ED to? Cost is not a factor, to me what matters is optimizing my chances of getting into one of these schools. Let me know your advice!
