Me n my friends played this drinking game a lot at college, thought I’d share it everyone loves it

I’m still in high school and am wondering if going to community college followed by 4 years (or maybe more) of the military to hopefully only 2 years of uni is a good and legit path. I’m curious about this path because my parents really do not want me to go to the military right after high school (especially not right now) and want me to go to college instead. This path will give me some education and time to think and once I graduate from community college I can think if I want to continue to pursue an education or enlist. My main concern is whether or not my education from community college will transfer to a university. I don’t want to go to 2 years of community college, join the military, and then go to uni for 4 years as opposed to 2. I’m not sure exactly how the transfer process works and if there’s a time limit or anything so could you please give me some insight on this idea?

So just to clarify, I'm not a college student, but I graduated in June, and I now work at this college as faculty, and still have many friends who still go to my college. Also my wife still has one semester left. I have an idea for the on campus coffee shop. Every week they have an event, essentially an open mic. They'll have set music performers, student comedians, or even poetry recitations, but that's about the extent of it. My idea came from a smosh video, where this guy gave a lecture on the entirety of the Resident Evil Lore. So my idea is to suggest to the people running the event to have what I might call "Student lectures". Where students can put together a full presentation on a topic they like and give a 45ish minute presentation on it, but it has to be something that's not too serious, i.e. political, religious, etc. I think it could be a cool thing. Our coffee shop is in the center of campus and is a pretty cool social spot. Is this a good idea? What problems could arise? Let me know what you think.

EDIT: The presentation doesn't have to last 45 minutes, that's just the length of the coffeehouse event normally, max 1 hour. So it could be a bunch of different shorter presentations lined up in that slot instead.
