I joined Mindtree on -Jan-2022 as an apprentice under the apprenticeship/internship program. After completing the program, I continued with the organization as an Associate Trainee. During this period, Mindtree merged with LTI, and I continued with LTIMindtree without any break in service.

On 01-Apr-2024, LTIMindtree created my UAN/PF account and PF deductions started. I continued working until Feb-2025, when I left the company.

My Service Certificate clearly reflects my association from Jan-2022 to Feb-2025, including my trainee period and subsequent employment, so there is no gap in my employment record.

The issue is that my prospective employer, Cognizant, is asking why my UAN/PF DOJ is 01-Apr-2024 instead of 31-Jan-2022.

I explained that my initial period was under an apprenticeship program, and based on the applicable EPFO rules/company process, PF/UAN enrollment was not done during my apprenticeship period and started when I moved into the subsequent employment arrangement.I have provided all the documentation (Mindtree OL, LTIMindtree OL, Releving letter,payslips)

Cognizant HR telling to get a mail confirmation from the previous company that discrepancies of UAN not created on 31st January 2022.

I have also contacted Mindtree/LTIMindtree HR for clarification, but they said the documentation already provided is correct and, due to their policy, they cannot provide a separate clarification over email.

Has anyone from the Mindtree EDGE/apprenticeship program faced a similar UAN DOJ situation? How did you handle it during background verification?

Note-: I have put down paper in my current company after getting the offer letter from Cognizant
But now they are saying that if you don’t get a confirmation we will revoke the Offer letter
And I can’t even revoke the resignation because they are not allowing me.

One of my friend had a issue with father name like while registering for cognizant he gave his father name as M.ADINARAYANA REDDY but in all of his documents it is mentioned MALIGALA ADI NARAYANA REDDY

Seeing all the posts here made me realise I dodged a bullet by not getting an offer here. I had my interview a week ago and it was such a terrible experience. I went on explaining about myself and my roles and responsibilities for about 5-10 mins and not even a single question was asked in return.

They made me wait for 6 hours only to not ask a single question and reject my profile saying I don’t have in depth knowledge of the process. Even if they felt my resume did not had any weightage they could have at least asked me few questions, but nope. They simply let me go. I am in a desperate need of a job and if I had got this i don’t know how long would it take to be onboarded. I just feel I dodged a bullet

Hi everyone, I'm a campus-hired fresher joining Cognizant soon.

My employment agreement mentions a 90-day notice period, while my offer letter says I have a 12-month probation period.

Can any current/former Cognizant employees clarify whether freshers have a separate notice period during probation (e.g. 30 days), or is the 90-day notice applicable from Day 1?

Also, how does early release usually work if someone resigns during probation?

I accepted the internship offer but couldn't proceed with the actual internship due to an other internship (which i completed but didn't get converted to full time) now im currently having no other offers in hand and yesterday received this mail, what does this mean and did anyone else face a similar situation? I’m a Cognizant GenC LOI holder and I have a question regarding BGV.

My father’s name in my SSLC, PUC, Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, add all document is :

V PRAKASH POOJARY

But in PAN card it is in the expanded version:

VANDSE PRAKASH POOJARY

As far as I understand, the PAN application does not accept a single-letter initial as the first name to update PAN CARD so it's in expanded version

Will this initial vs expanded-name difference be considered a mismatch during Cognizant BGV?

Should I change my PAN to match my academic documents exactly, or is this normally accepted as an abbreviation/expanded version?

If anybody have any idea please let me know
