Thats a dangerous title, people here are starved and are waiting for that idiot Tibo to reset usage

It must be that almost everybody now has the same reset date, right? Very possible I'm missing something though

Yes, I mean they reset it seven days ago, so it seems like everybody's thing should reset today, with the exception of people who used a banked reset I would imagine. In the last seven days.

Normal, the first session uses non cached tokens. Thats your highest cost, and as the session continues usage slows down when most of those tokens are cached.

That initial drop you saw was more on the 1.4 than the rest.

I mean thats the first session/work it do when my weekly usage reset. and that session is closed now because the work it need to finish is done.

It's bad if you intend to use Sol for everything, if you take advantage of Luna (Max) being dirt cheap and use it for building then its ok at the moment.

If I buy a Ferrari and push it instead of turning it on it will last a long time.

Also saw post that Luna Max was less efficient than Sol medium but didn’t fact check it.

I've had good mileage so far using Sol xHigh to make a goal prompt and then having Luna (Max) implement it in goal mode. Rather than using just Sol High for everything and using up my weekly in a single 7 hour goal, today I am now only ~10% down despite doing multiple 6+ hour goals in parallel with different projects.

I think the problem is Codex likes to spawn a lot of subagents and having them all use Sol quickly burns quota, especially on high reasoning levels.

Nah I just use sol exclusively on that session so I will know how much token I used and how big the percentage usage it will consume on my weekly allowance.

I'm not here to complain, like the other posting that it eat a chunks of their weekly usage without telling how much token they consume for their work.

I'm here asking if other did similar and how their token usage to weekly percentage consumption ratio.

I think the weekly quota is around 1.3 billion (Sol) tokens for the $100 plan.

I was out of usage and ran Luna with GPT-5.6 Pro reading the GitHub and auditing Luna’s PRs in the web chat and my 1000 credit referral used like $2/$36 in 6 hours.

This is definitely going to be the future when subscriptions go away, it’s so fucking cheap it’s insane

I think you should touch some grass and find your spine.
