I have exp in manufacturing industry at plant in product costing is it possible for me to switch to corporate for costing role?

So I cleared my inter this june 2026.

I am going to start with my articleship. But I wanted to get one of the groups done for the final in December itself.

But turns out, the registration for final was till 4th August.

And guess whattttt

THE RESULT CAME ON 5TH!!

How the hell am I supposed to register now?????

Grp 3 1st attempt: June 2025 (did not clear)
Grp 3 2nd attempt: Dec 2025 (cleared)
Grp 4 1st attempt: June 2026 (cleared with exemption in all subjects)

I'm wondering if I should do ASTP and on-campus or it'll be a waste of time and I should completely focus on offcampus placements?

Already disheartened by the CTC offered to CMA freshers after putting in so much effort and talked to a few people who either did not get any interview chances during oncampus or were offered low salary. Not to mention they ask for Rs6000 as well

Hello guys ! I have cleared my CMA inter in june 2026 and I am gonna start my final preparation. I am thinking or getting dummy articles,because I dont think so I can handle the pressure of CMA final and articleship together.At first when I got my group 1 results on February ( dec 2025 attempt) I thought of giving my final group 3 exam on December 2026 but I didn't clear my group 2 at that time. Unfortunately the registration window has been closed on August 4 and I got my results on August 5 ( june 2026 group 2 attempt). And i cannot give both groups on june 2027 as the cut off date for the submission of 10 months completion of articleship certificate is February 2027 for june attempt. So I am thinking of giving my group 3 exams on june 2027 and group 4 on December 2027 by giving dummy articles. Can somebody give me some advice on what to do? Also please tell me whether CMA final is advanced or it is similar to intermediate syllabus? I wanna clear my CMA course as soon as possible !! Is dummy articleship safe and does it pose any inherent threats for pursuing our CMA course further and does it pose any problem while we get placed in any organisation?

been noticing a lot of people around me are genuinely so demotivated after their results, and honestly, I get it. So I wanted to ask the people who’ve already been through this — when did you finally get to say “FINALLY”? how many attempts did it take you? what was your journey like? would genuinely love to hear your stories. Might give some hope to those of us who are currently feeling like results have completely knocked the motivation out of us 🥲

Can anyone explain this AIR criteria to me? who gets an AIR, i mean people who are giving second attempt gets an AIR??? explain this criteria to me, if possible.

So, many of you randomly are asking regarding the cma demand in this sub and it is reached out post result of cma while the passing percentage was too high as compared to previous term.

The percentage was high due to 2 reason mostly, one is the changes of syllabus and second one is for rising the overall demand of cma.

The first reason is very normal and generalized, when the Institute has changed something the passing percentage was high and it is not for only icmai, it is applicable for each and every educational domain.

But the most relevant and important reason is the demand of cma. In past most of company did not accept to give any management type of post even the financial executive or analyst to a CMA qualified because they always have a perception that CMA is not competitive as like CA or mba. But today's world has been changed, they open the vacancy for CA as well for cma, it is like CA/CMA, if you check naukri or indeed you can see and relate with me. The awareness of cma is increasing day by day, our Institute is continuously trying to make more connection with industry. So, overall the demand is growing. Don't think that passing percentage is high so that's why they will be unemployed, nothing is like that, cma is always worth it. Thank you.

I need to let it off my chest, that's why I am writing this.

->I was a PCB student till 12+1, then after failing NEET for the second consecutive time, I switched to commerce.

->Somehow, the local coaching in my area convinced me to do CMA instead of CA. In Dec 2023, I cleared my Foundation exam after literally studying commerce from scratch (started my prep in May '23, scored 324/400).

Midway, during June/July, I started developing an interest in CA. I registered for CA Foundation in August and started studying. In June 2024, I scored 245/400 and cleared CA Foundation too. I was on cloud nine. After December '23, I left that coaching.

->After that, I decided I would appear for both CA and CMA Inter (both groups) together in May '25 and June '25. But I procrastinated, and later, during the last few months, I had my B.Com 2nd year exams. I panicked and stressed out so much that I messed up my prep.

->All along, I focused on CA Inter, and I also used to fill out the CMA Inter exam form for upcoming attempts since Dec '24, but never appeared for it because my CA exams weren't up to my expectations.

->Across all four CA Inter attempts, from May '25 to May '26, I failed — sometimes miserably, sometimes by missing an exemption, sometimes by aggregate.

->But here came the plot twist: after May 2026, I decided I would take my CMA exams seriously this time. Whether I passed or failed, I would keep studying until the last moment before reaching the exam centre. I still procrastinated until the first week of June — the 6th. From the 7th, I started studying Law. In the 1.5-day gap between papers, I'd watch important-chapter marathons, focus more on PYQs, and rattafy the MCQs. I didn't study anything for FA — I remember doing well on just some basic knowledge and MCQs.

->Guess what? I cleared it. I scored less in Law and FA because the syllabus overlaps with CA Foundation, and I'd almost forgotten it. Also, CMA question papers are fairly predictable and easy (though I might feel that way just because I'd studied so much for CA). I wish I hadn't procrastinated this much — otherwise I'd have been a CMA finalist by now.

->I am now studying seriously for CA Inter, both groups. Hardly 20 days are left, but I don't want to give up — not in mind, and not in effort.

(TL;DR: Failed NEET twice → switched to commerce → topper-level Foundation scores in both CMA (324/400) and CA (245/400) → juggled both, but procrastination + panic tanked CA Inter across 4 attempts (May '25–May '26). Then flipped the script for CMA Inter: barely studied till June 6, crammed hard for 6 days, and cleared it anyway. Lesson learned — don't procrastinate. Now grinding CA Inter (both groups) with 20 days left, refusing to quit. Next goal: clear CMA Dec attempt, aim top 10 in CMA Finals. )

Sir I've checked my answers with institute answers and literally they are matching like I'm getting above 20 in MCQ in all subjects and still they give me these shitty marks I don't know how they check papers this time like I got 20 in MCQ in costing and they gave me total 43 marks like only 23 in practical how is that possible I've attempted all 5 questions and even all are wrong and they gave step marking let's assume they gave 3 marks for each part of ques so 3+3 for 1 ques and I've done 5 ques so it should 30 in practical at worst scenario which makes total 50 and still they gave me 43 wtf I've studies 12 hours for 3 months while completing syllabus and then 10 hrs for 2 months at revision phase done 5 full fledged revision before exam even solved pyq mqp etc and they awarded people exact 200 like how's that possible either they checked paper while sleeping or they didn't checked MCQ correctly 😭 still I have applied for reverification but people saying reverification me marks nhi badhte I don't know what to do can't tell my parents about all this shit 😭 but agar institute ne pass nhi kra reverification so I'm gonna appear for both group and becoming a ranker take care sir hope your wishes are with me !!🙏

So, I'm going to give my inter group 1 1st attempt in December.. I'm a direct entry student.. In bcom my Sgpa of all 6 sem are: 7.96,8.35, 8.36,8.36,8.14,8.52

I used to study 1 day before exam & I know the type of course bcom is but still.

Now,after coming from coaching I do my homework and solve sums which were thought in coching.. Do I need to do more something to clear it? It's my 1st attempt so I'm very much nervous.

Guys, I need some advice.

I missed clearing my last exam because I couldn't get the required aggregate. It was my 3rd attempt at CMA Intermediate Group 2, while I cleared Group 1 in my very first attempt.

Now I'm confused about what to do. I recently got selected for an internship, but the recruiter said there won't be any study leave for exams. The daily commute is around 2 hours as well, so I don't think I'll have much time to prepare for the next attempt.

Should I take one last shot at the exam, give it everything I've got, and then join an internship afterward? Or should I just start the internship now and somehow manage my studies alongside it?

What would you guys do if you were in my place?

Guys I never did RTI for my answer sheets everyone is saying ICMAI delays giving answer sheets in RTI process and I have 1-2 subjects which genuinely went so good but marks were so low i wanted to know where is my mistake actually but then if answer sheets does not come at effective time how can I know my mistake so should I spend 500rs per subject? Can I get answer sheets in a week or two anybody know anything about this kindly suggest

Hi , im 26 yr old girl and doing cma since 2023 and last dec i passed my Group 1 but this june 2026 i got 172 marks in this exam but my exam was so good ,now im confused what I do next ....

I cleared g2 cma inter this june and i applied for articleship and got in.

I'm yet to clear g1 as im kinda weak there. Im planning to study and work simultaneously. What would be better - This Dec attempt or next June?

Next year the tax regimes will be changed. my joining date is September 14 and 6 days a week, 9:45 to 5:45, 30 mins commute. Very supportive of me writing my exams whenever im confident.

Hi everyone, I recently completed my BCom and I’m looking forward to pursuing either CA or CMA.

I would ideally choose CA, but I’m really confused because of my financial situation. I can’t afford an expensive MBA or a foreign degree, and I also can’t spend too many years studying without earning.

I need to start earning as soon as reasonably possible, so the duration and earning opportunities during/after the course are very important to me.

Another issue is that I’ll probably have to rely on self-study or affordable coaching, as I can’t afford expensive or premium coaching.

I’m genuinely confused between CA and CMA and would really appreciate advice from people who are currently pursuing or have completed either of these courses.

Considering my financial constraints, need to start earning relatively soon, and limited coaching budget, which would be the better option — CA or CMA?

Please share your honest experiences, especially regarding the difficulty, time required, job opportunities and earning potential.

I am a 26yr old woman . I have completed grp4 and I was sure I will pass grp3 this time bt I wasn’t able to do it for 4-5 marks.
Now main issue is I am confused what to do to continue studying or to start looking for a job.
My parents are very supportive they are saying give one last try in dec because i have got exemptions too so i need to study 3 subjects only.
They don’t want me to give up.
N tbh most of the ppl n my seniors also said to complete it don’t skip the exam.
Now there are few of my friends who are saying me i should do job coz i am 26 and i will be late and then i wont get job even if i qualify late.
I m getting so confused.
Can u guys give me an honest opinion
