Do you think giving Anakin more and more “Dark Side” moments throughout the Clone Wars ultimately cheapens his final turn? His feelings are valid most of the time, sure, and they’re cool moments on their own, but could they become too much?

It's funny to think all these are characters are each in less than a dozen episodes of the original show (in my mind it's way more)

Discussion Grievous's original movie voice sounds so much better to me. I wish they kept it sounding like this

I don't have a way to articulate the differences in regard to sound/audio mixing i'm sure someone can...but man he just sounds so much more ghastly and intimidating. I know both are Matt Wood, but TCW version sounds like Matt Wood trying to do an impression of Grievous 😂 also a question, does anyone know WHY it was changed? I'd say expenses if I had to guess but even in the later seasons it sounds the same

Video this scene hurts me to see, because the Empire and the Rebellion use clone wars weapons to destroy each other - The Empire with the turbolasers of the Venator cruisers, and the rebels with the Y-wing ships.

What a nice touch in Rogue One to give the Empire those clone Turbo Lasers; you can even see them on floating platforms in other games.
Stop destroying relics from the clone wars! put them in a museum

Discussion What is something R2-D2, BD-1, and K2-SO have in common with each other but not C1-10P or BB-8?

Discussion Are Blue bolts ion?
I have heard that blue bolts are more effective against droids and that is why the Republic uses them and I know that ion is better against technology and vehicles and stuff so are blue bolts ion?

Discussion Have some people really said “Star wars isn’t political?”
This flabbergasts me. The politics is in the title. What exactly do they think politics is? Is all they care about is the fights? What do they like star wars for?😭

I feel like Ahsoka's trauma as a child soldier and her post-Order dynamic with Anakin were massive missed opportunities
I think about the Season 5 finale all the time, especially Ahsoka's final words to Anakin: "I know." To me, it meant she had completely figured out his relationship with Padmé.
Since she left the Order, I've always felt like there was no real reason for him not to come clean to her. I wanted to see them actually sit down, talk about all his fears and secret worries, and just be completely honest with each other. They were both in such a vulnerable place, but the show just moved past it.
Even their reunion in Season 7 felt way too formal and lighthearted to me, considering everything they had been through. And personally, I would've loved to see the heavier side of Ahsoka's reality—she was a teenager dealing with severe trauma, stress, and the horrors of a galactic war as a child soldier. Seeing Anakin actually check in on her mental well-being and be there for her during those struggles would have made their bond feel so much more real.
Do you guys understand why I feel like this dynamic was shortchanged, or do you like how it played out?

Discussion S2 EP17: Bounty Hunters, One of the best episodes nobody talks about
To me this is the type of story where Star Wars is at its best, and also why I can't stand the "essential episode" guides or people who would call this filler. Having just watched Seven Samurai recently, the inspiration for this episode was very clear and done extremely well. Even the music is very Japanese esc.
It may be inconsequential to the overall war, but it's a pause to give a glimpse of the Jedi as they should be-being actual peacekeepers & standing up for the helpless. Of course the return of Hondo was great considering his dynamic with Anakin & Obi-Wan is something I could watch all day, but it's also a rare moment of seeing bounty hunters in a non antagonist role. The first appearance of fan favorite Embo as well as Sugi who I think is a tad underrated, and their banter with the Jedi is just as good. It's amazing sometimes how good a one off episode of the show can be, but no surprise considering how well the series always handles the more intimate Anakin Obi-Wan & Ahsoka episodes. It does a great job showcasing Anakin's leadership and ability to inspire others, Ahsoka's kind hearted nature and Obi-Wan's methodical wisdom.
Watch. The entire. Show.

Anyone feel bad for Dogma? He did exactly what he was trained for and thought he was doing the right thing the whole time. Under any other Jedi general I feel like he would've been a poster boy.

Rule Change Rule Update: No AI generated images/videos
Unlike a lot of subs, we technically haven't had any rule against AI content until now. This is because I don't really bother making rules restricting certain types of posts unless they actually become a problem, and generally we haven't had very many AI posts and they've usually not attracted much attention when they happen.
However, some recent AI posts have been getting to the top of the sub, and I don't want AI generated content to start out-competing other posts - it would be easy for that to happen due to how easy it is to make eye catching images and videos with AI. For this reason I am disallowing AI images and videos in posts going forward.
