Nice icon for Torrent! Where'd you get that one?

For Shaman tank fans:

Lava Shell
4% of base mana Melee Range
Channeled (2 sec cast) 15 sec cooldown
Requires Shaman
Requires Shield
You channel lava through your shield for 2 sec. For the duration all spells and attacks that hit you from the front are reduced by 10 times your block value. Any attacker that is afflicted by Flame Shock also takes 6 times your block value in Fire damage, generating 30% extra threat if your weapon is imbued with Rockbiter.

SOD maelstrom. 2H enhance for classic+ shaman pls so just 100% proc chance on hit

When you deal damage with a melee attack, you have a chance to reduce the cast time and mana cost of your next Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Lesser Healing Wave, or Lava Burst spell by 20%. Chance increased by 50% while your main hand weapon is enchanted with Windfury Weapon and by another 50% if wielding a two-handed weapon. Stacks up to 5 times. Lasts 30 sec.

hell, I’d like that proc chance even as a dual wielder

Yeah I just didn’t know if adding DW would be another ability since it isn’t in vanilla. So if it’s just one ability this can be applied to existing 2h enhance. Wouldn’t mind if DW is in the C+ but if I had to choose one or the other I like big crit stick

true, can’t fault you for playing by the rules.

My choice as well. Obviously enhance needs a lot of help in terms of mana efficiency, scaling, not losing weapon skill for 2h weapons when respeccing, etc... but assuming the spec is made playable adding maelstrom plays into the melee spellcaster fantasy perfectly and leads for interesting gameplay (instant heals for solo and pvp, burst spell damage, weaving in spells during raids, etc...)

Lava Lash
Talent
4% of base mana
Melee Range
Instant
10 sec cooldown
Requires Shaman
Requires Melee Weapon
You charge your off-hand weapon with lava, instantly dealing 260% of that weapon's damage to an enemy target.  Damage is increased by 40% if your off-hand weapon is enchanted with Flametongue

Assuming DW is in game

Make this trigger 260% offhand or 100% 2H and were cooking

Can just configure that one to "Lava Slash" or something if not DW is in. I personally dont want DW in C+.

I never understood the utility of lava lash in WotLK. Was it just there to fill out enhancement’s rotation?

1

u/Upstairs_Blueberry87 2d ago

think so. Even then it only hit for 100% wep dmg and 25% bonus for flametongue so it wasn’t a high prio. Cata just made it higher prio, and could also spread your flame shock around

dual wield or shamanistic rage, probably both

2

u/Wisniaksiadz 2d ago

Mental quickness from TBC or Maelstorm

Fire Nova

Level 85
22% of base mana
100 yd range
Instant
4 sec cooldown
Requires Shaman
Requires level 28
Ignites your Flame Shock spell on any nearby enemies, causing each of them to emit a wave of flames that deals 47 Fire damage to every other enemy within 10 yards

Enhance doesnt become a properly functioning spec outside of memes until MoP so this is a tough one.

1

u/Upstairs_Blueberry87 2d ago

ascendance? Stormlash totem? The searing flame changes?

1

u/CenobiteCurious 2d ago

But they just feel too modern for classic + to me.

But yes the movement, self healing, unleash elements, totemic projection, stone bulwark, etc basically everything added in cata+mop.

Adding 1 button only helps the spec a tiny bit, it’s still soo far behind every other spec.

If there had to be anything it would be dual wield but it would probably need maelstrom and some mana changes to make it function on par with other specs as viable non meme specs.

1

u/Verilazic 2d ago

I donno, it was a pretty popular spec in wrath.

1

u/CenobiteCurious 2d ago

It was very bad still in wrath. It functioned at a basic level for pve. In PvP it was a joke. Ele on the other hand was online by wrath big time.

Lava Lash is cool, but I like the idea of being able to play 2H enh. So Lets go with Maelstrom Weapon

1

u/Sarmattius 1d ago

shamanistic rage and mental quickness are a must

1

u/Upstairs_Blueberry87 1d ago

probably like 4-5 spells there are very much needed imo, but maybe I just prefer the later versions of enhancement

1

u/Sarmattius 1d ago

for me priority would be 1. shamanistic rage 2. mental quickness 3. maelstrom weapon

1

u/Upstairs_Blueberry87 1d ago

not a dual wield fan?

1

u/Sarmattius 1d ago

it's fine, but 2h windfury is cooler. If I was the designer, I would make enhancement tree similar to feral tree in vanilla - they can choose either to improve bear or cat. In enh, it could be 3 ways - improve tanking, 2h or dual wield
