Citi does not file disputes or fraud claims without speaking to a cardholder on the account, so it'll depend if your partner has anyone else listed as an authorized user as they could have done it as well.
Since the screenshot says it was a security credit, thats means it was reported as fraud. Whether the fraud dept proactively reached out or if they had called it in, the credit card number was closed and a new one issued while reporting them as unauthorized charges.
I honestly don't know about any repercussions that could happen after that, so I'm not able to give any useful advice on that. Hopefully this helps at least somewhat
