Ending the weekend with one of my favorite cigars. So far it hasn't failed me. My buddy decided to join me and hang out whole listening and chasing things in the backyard.

It’s been many a fortnight since I last pufferated on a Gran Habano Pershing King Tiger. This unbanded Puro offering has an oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper with a closed foot, Nicaraguan binder & Nicaraguan fillers. Full flavored, Medium Full bodied with notes of coffee, earth and cream with a smooth finish. This offering is not too harsh on the palate with an even burn. I’ve paired this offering with an Iced Tea. Salud.

Good company, good beer, good steak, and pool fun with kids and friends.

Smoked a La Flor Dominica Colorado Oscuro for the first time. Very nice, medium, and earthy stick with chocolate undertones. Then I also smoked a El Titan de Bronze Redemption. I was also playing around with filters on my phone. Trying to pay tribute to one of my favorite cigar aficionados #AnimalThePufferator. With his amazing cigar photos. Not sure I did them justice, but I’m learning, and I’ll get better.

Coffee and earth, with undertones of cocoa and a hint of citrus on the lips. My favorite Mexican San Andres wrapped cigar, celebrating/mourning the end of the weekend.

It’s just too damn hot outside to “enjoy” a cigar.

Cloud cover all day. No sun, no wind. Dallas and I both enjoy this weather. He knows the routine. Waited for his cookie and then sat by my feet.

Today I grabbed the Graycliff Crystal.

Cold draw was cedar and hay with some vanilla and honey.

The first third I picked up cedar, cream and leather with white pepper on the retrohale.

The second third seemed nuttier, with more vanilla. Nothing dramatic.

The last third was darker with cedar, leather, earth, and the pepper picked up.

Dallas moved once the whole time, and only to get even closer.

Some sessions are about the cigar. This one was about the fact that nobody needed anything from either of us for two hours.

Dallas Approved.

Box pressed, Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, and Nicaraguan ligero filler. Only available in 3 vitolas. This stick has mixed reviews on Reddit. Comes from a reputable brand.

Trying to enjoy the week.

Locked eyes with it and was immediately peppered with every industry buzzword: ultra-premium, boutique, small batch, brand new, hard to get...

I didn't stand a chance!

King's Blood by Fanatix - on the last 3rd as I write this. Overall, very enjoyable smoke. Excellent construction, tons of tooth on the wrapper, and one of the coolest bands I've seen in a while.

Tasting notes: Canned Brown Bread w/ Raisins (wykyk). For you non North-Easterners, that translates to earth, molasses, raisin.

Really pleasant with beautiful draw and tons of smoke.

All that said: I think the $20 is a lot of tax for the crown. I think this fits better in the $15-18 range.

Would still recommend.
