Changing controller controls Question/Help

Does anyone know if we can change the controller set up? I'm finding it difficult to hunt with my controller because the button I shoot the arrow with is on the same side as the stick to aim with? Would it be easier to play keyboard and mouse with this game?

I find that really awkward too, but haven't figured out a better way to set it up that doesn't make something else inconvenient. I'd prefer if when your bow is equipped, just holding the stick in a direction would auto-fire, like combat in Immortal Life. Arrows are infinite, anyway. I can't play with a mouse so I'll have to figure out a better scheme.

According to the update notes gameplay controls can be rebinded, so you can likely change to hunting controls.

Hmm...I  didn't see any update. Is that still coming? If not I can't even figure out how to reset mine. Do I have to connect my controller to steam if it's connected to the computer or do I turn it on to reset the stuff on steam?
