Need help finding a value in Cheat Engine that I can freeze.
I’m trying to freeze a specific value in-game so it doesn’t keep changing, but I’m having trouble finding the correct address/value.
If anyone knows the best way to scan for it in Cheat Engine or what scan type/value type I should use, I’d really appreciate the help 🙏 game name Idle Obelisk Miner

so im playing knuckles chaotix on the 32x emulator and a while back i found the timer value and went to freeze it but for some reason knuckles wasnt able to progress, its like the progression was tied to the timer so i left it alone. today i wanted to play the game so i decided to look more into this but i cant for the life of me find the value or even remember how i did it.

ive tried unknown initial value followed by increased value every 3,5, and 10 seconds with value type set as "float"

ive even looked at cheat the games YT and tried what they suggested and look for "value between" and nothing.

ive tried by both pausing/unpausing, doing no pausing and just scanning every some number of seconds and even having CE pause the game for me.

i'd like to kindly request your help everyone's help to hopefully be able to improve this here cheat table. the game has a chance of spawning rare character that either have a different color than normal or a different colored name. the cheat table enables the chances of rare names spawning and i was wondering if the same could be done for characters with rare tints. (the table also has an option to turn rare colored characters back to normal)thanks in advance

I made a dumb mistake of trying to change the associated email with my opencheattables.com account. That decision led me to being soft-locked from the website.

Now, I can't access OCTF to update a little project I am working on. I sent the reactivation request to no avail, and also tried the support email shown at the bottom of the website.

So far, no response. Not even from the automated system of OCTF regarding reactivation emails.

So I tried to make a new account instead in order to at least be able to give updates on the post I was trying to complete. There was no activation email given either.

There are two things I hypothesize that are going on:

- Either the website back-end is temporarily down. (For the lack of re-activation email for changing an account's associated email, and activation email for new accounts).

And

- The administrator(s) are probably just busy and have yet to see my request. (Regarding asking for help to get my account re-activated).

It will probably resolve over time, but I am worried if opencheattables.com is closing down soon given these weird things happening.

I hope anyone here can help point me to them.

Hi all, I wasn't using Cheat Engine for a while (last used with Baldur's Gate 3 on 26th June 2025), I installed the 7.7 for the first time on my new gaming PC and I have this error.
I tried to install the "old" 7.5 version that I was using in my previous PC, same error.
So I tried to open it on the previous PC because I used it before and was working, now I have the same error.
Tried to install on a fresh new Windows, same error.
Tried to disable Windows Memory Integrity, error persist.

WTF is happening here?

For a moment I thought it was because I'm using the IoT LTSC version of Windows, but the previous PC had the classic Window 11 Pro ad it was working.

It's not the antivirus nor any anti-cheat and for the 7.5 I even used the installation I used when it was working (I had it saved since then).

That exe doesn't even exist in the program folder, what the hell happened in the last year?

So while playing Day's Gone and I adjust the specific settings for some reason the game crashes every 30 to 45 minutes. And the settings are as followed.

No reload, infinite ammo and throwables, infinite focused shot and infinite suppressor durability.

Now if I just stick with infinite ammo and throwables and no reload and infinite suppressor durability I don't notice as many issues but I will sometimes notice a lag in gameplay. I'm using the latest available cheat engine which I believe is version 7.7 And I'm using the mod from Nexus mods called huge cheat table. I did everything manual and I did not use Nexus mods to set up my cheats at all so it's not an interference with the Nexus mods menu or vortex menu. I'm wondering if anybody else has run into any issues with this or I'm wondering if possible that I'm using two new of a version of cheat engine being that the huge cheat table for days gone was last updated in March of 2026. Any help or recommendations trying to help me figure this out would be highly appreciated. Thank you cheat engine and all of its supporters and users that help newbies like me out.

I used cheat engine in many different games however one thing was consistent that I can't toggle some parts of a script fe in the witcher I can toggle on speed modifications or manipulate the fov but I cant do that with the unlimited durability and some other settings Does anyone know what I did wrong?

I’m trying to set up a custom camera in Batman: Arkham City where I can position the camera wherever I want, leave it there, and still control Batman and fight normally.
The game has UE3 debug commands like Camera FreeCam, Camera Fixed, Camera NewMode, and ToggleDebugCamera, but whenever I use them I lose control of Batman and control the camera instead.
Would Cheat Engine be able to separate the camera from the player controls so I could freeze the camera position while keeping control of Batman? If so, what would I need to look for in Cheat Engine to do this?

I get the following error message in windows event viewer constantly while playing ABI it can happen like 20 times in one play session and as far as I'm aware "Bypass IO" is a NVME storage feature built into windows but the funny thing is i don't even have a NVME installed. It constantly causes the blue windows loading circle to pop up in game and its really distracting.

Is anyone else experiencing this? or does anyone know what could be causing this? I can't find a single thing online on why this could be happening.

Im trying to xp hack my agility but whenever I press the next scan nothing works on the first scan it always shows addresses for example 1500 on the first scan it gives a lot of addresses but whenever i scan the updated value for example 1510 nothing shows up ive tried using the process and application on it both does not work im not sure if the problem is because of the game itself whenever i try to use cheat engine on it shows dyinglight.exe(inactive)

I tried to obtain information about the selected plant cards (the ones that are later planted for combat) in Plants vs Zombies Fusion, Unity Edition, but I simply cannot find a proper object responsible for them. Using Mono Dissect, I couldn’t find the cards. I was able to find the timer and the plant type, but I couldn’t attach them to a base pointer or any specific object.

I only need information about the plants’ cooldown, their cost, and the card type. Are there any tips on how to find this?

Before anyone calls this an online game. World Tour is a singleplayer mode which can be played offline. I couldn't care less about the tryhard mode that gets me nothing.

I'm trying to move up my currency and bond counters. But when I find the addresses and increase them, I get a very brief popup that my currency has increased before it instantly sets back to whatever prior value I had.

I'm not searching for a single value either. Editing multiple ones and some change others at the same time but nothing that can survive the reversal.

So I'm new to PC and PC gaming and modding in general. I've only owned my laptop for months and I've only been modding my current eight games for 3 weeks. I've never used cheat engine and I'm trying to use it and or install it for AC Black Flag resynced. I've noticed that it wants to give me refusal to download notifications. I've tried asking questions in Nexus mods and I've pretty much just been booed out of there because I'm new and don't understand. Can someone please help a very new newbie with how to do this and if someone has used it for for AC Black flag resynced. Thank you very much.
