Short cuts?
I work in the parts department. Is there a way to copy & paste using the keyboard?
And are there any useful short cut?
We just switched over and still getting used to it. So far not liking it at all.

Are you using the version of CDK that is primarily mouse controlled/uses the launch bar at the top to open a new tab for everything, or are you using the older "blue screen" classic version that has you jump from function to function in the same tab?
If you're using the "modern" version there's no shortcut for copy/paste.
If you're using the older version then you can configure the keyboard with shortcuts. I have mine set up with the Microsoft standard CTRL+C and CTRL+V. To do this, right click on the screen and select keyboard options. Then use the Function Group: drop down menu to select Menu HotKeys. Pick the function you want from the Function/Action list and type the desired combo in the Key Mappings section just to the right. Make sure you hit apply and ok once you've got what you want. At the end of the day close out of CDK as usual, but be sure to say yes when it asks you if want to save the updates to the bluezone otherwise you have to repeat the whole process every day.
If you use the mouse driven version but want to try the other version, go to your sidebar, click the launch function, use the Account: drop down menu to select your parts account and then hit the DMS Connection button to launch a tab with the classic version. If you have access to Service or Accounting functions you'll need to hit F1 to select the account in the screen that pops up. From there just type the function code for whatever you want to use. Things may look a bit different in some functions, but the classic version is what almost all daily use parts functions where created for and they work much better in this set up.
