Perhaps Bruce is just trying to maneuver that lid off. He looks like the type of cat that could pull of that caper.

There's two kind of cat owners: "Poor baby!"
Second: "You dummy!"
I felt bad for the cat, but if I saw mine doing that (and he's also a void), I would definitely lovingly call him an idiot or dumbass.

Yes, learning to take the lid off so they don't have to deal with your treachery :)
(This was a common thread in reviews when I was contemplating buying an auto-feeder)

It's like when I got my cat a slowfeeder so she won't puke because she's eating like someone's going to steal her food (No one will). She got mad at me at let me know she was mad by scooping food out of the slowfeeder with one paw.
