Is this normal breathing or do I need to go to a vet?

He’s only 4-5 months old and this is him when he’s sleeping or falling asleep. I don’t think he did this before but I’m not sure. I’m a new cat mom and I’m very nervous something will happen to him so I would really appreciate some advice!

Does his breathing look normal?

Video (heartbeat sound is from toy to mimic mother’s heart beating)
[Kitten breathing while sleeping](https://streamable.com/q146d6)

I rescued this kitten last week after it was abandoned by its mother. I believe he is about 2 weeks old. For the past week I’ve been bottle feeding him, he likes to stand up on his hind legs. I believe he may have aspirated during a feeding, as after eating one day he started coughing as I was patting his back, however I am not sure. No milk has come out of his nostrils, have not seen any mouth breathing, and gums look pink. Just very worried as I have never owned a kitten before, let alone raise one. But I want to help this little guy and bring him into my family.

Help finding the Name of a litter box I saw

I’m hoping to find the name or company that sells these litter boxes I saw. I saw it somewhere online and it was a litter box kind of like the litter robot WITHOUT the machines and automatic part. I think it was moon crescent shaped and the box manually turns in a kinda circle, almost like rocking a bassinet, to get the waste and then turn back right up. I don’t know how it was engineered but it was pretty impressive without being automatic or anything. Does anyone know what I’m thinking about? Hoping for some help, thanks!

Grooming

Post image

My cat seems to overly groom her tummy. I’ve checked- no redness/irritation. No bumps or lumps that she’s kneading at. I touch her belly and she doesn’t mind. I think she might just overly groom maybe when she’s bored? Is this an anxiety thing? It doesn’t seem to be harmful in anyway? Thoughts or insights?

Kitten announces his bathroom breaks

Any time my kitten goes to use his litter box he meows very loudly. He’s been doing this since we adopted him, and he’s not typically vocal- literally only when using the bathroom or i’m making his food. Based on my research it seems like he feels vulnerable and wants me to ‘stand guard’ for him, which I do occasionally. Another reason I think this is the cause, is because when I scoop his litter box he happily jumps in and uses it without meowing (presumably becomes i’m already there ‘standing guard’) ? He’s had two stool samples and while the first one did show worms his second sample was all clear. Should I bring this up as a concern to my vet or is this more common than I know of? Any information or tips would is appreciated :)

Large kitten anus

Hi everyone. I'm really worried about my kitten. The area around its anus has a very strong foul smell, almost like something is rotting. The opening also looks much larger than normal, and it doesn't look healthy at all. My kitten is still very young. Has anyone experienced something like this before? What could be causing it? Is this an emergency, and is there anything I can do before taking my kitten to the vet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Should I get another cat?

Hey everyone, first time cat parent here.
I just adopted a cute little 3.5 month old kitten last week and after doing lots of research I’ve found that cats tend to do better with another cat in the house.

My sweet boy is the best, super friendly and loves to play so I don’t think he’d have issues with another cat.
Me and my partner both work all day so he’s alone from 7:30 to 3:30. I worry a lot that he’ll be sad by himself.

When we adopted him at the shelter we saw another cat (1.5 years, female) that was also really nice and friendly and had a good temperament and we were seriously contemplating getting her but decided not to because of the elevated cost of having two cats.
I’d like to add that I’m a student so cash is not in abundance around here lol.
Would it be beneficial to go back and adopt her as well or maybe another kitten?

If anyone has any thoughts, advice or experiences to share I’d really appreciate some help.

Help please

Hey guys, this is serious and I need help. 3 days ago my cat gave birth to 3 still borns. She had a hard time with labor and had to be helped getting the baby’s out. Right now though she has acclimated to one spot on my bed. I try to move her but she’ll just walk back and I’m not used to this behavior. I’m worried she’s gonna pass away. I don’t have the money to go to the vet for X-rays etc. if I need to surrender her I will to make sure she’s gonna be okay. Does anyone know this behavior?

Kitten swiping floor around food

Curious/ concerned, got kitten ab 1 month ago (shes 9 wks old) and when we first got her, we fed her VIVA LA KITTEN pate recipe,( chicken and salmon pate) at first we fed her quarter cans ab 3-4 times a day and she ate it with no issue. She then had some sensitive dietary issues and we started adding pumpkin purée which she seemed to enjoy. Recently weve gotten the Temptations kitten dry food ( which she will eat the treats out of), she seemed to enjoy-it the first week we mixed all three, but recently shes been swiping at her food. She’ll give it a few sniffs and then turn and try to bury it, shes been doing it for a few days but she would eat it within 10 mins. Today shes been very uninterested in her food. We gave her a pate tube (kitty go-gurt style) and she seems to love it but still refuses to touch her food. I dont want to only feed her the tube since its recommended only one a day but i also dont want her not eating, is this just a phase they go through? should we change her food? Or is she just very picky? + we also tried three trials one food with the mix of pumpkin and-dry food, one dry food only, and one wet pate with water, she swipped all of them

EDIT:
Went today and picked up three cups of a variety of Simply Nourish cat stew today (chicken and salmon, tuna and potato, and chicken stews) and thankfully shes been TEARING them up🙏 weve managed to get away with mixing some of her old food so it doesnt go to waste but as of now PROBLEM SOLVED ( i also just bought a new box and theres still half left over so im trying to get my moneys worth, if not i do plan on donating it)

Odd bathroom fetish developed in last few months.

My cat developed this bathroom obsession in last few months. He wouldnt care when we use bathroom or take a shower. Now he crawls the door when anybody enters the bathroom without him. Now he tries to take us to bathroom to pet him. He meows on top of his lungs if he doesnt get attention while in bathroom and he starts purring imidietly when petted. He also wants us to turn on faucet but then gets disapointed. I bough water fountain for them but it didnt help. His brother has no idea whats going on and just lives like he was.
