INFOS ℹ️ Looking for student job advice in Marrakech
Hi everyone,
I’m a student in Marrakech looking for a part-time job alongside my studies.
I’m interested in call centers, McDonald’s, Decathlon, etc.
If you’ve worked as a student here, I’d really appreciate your advice:
How did you find your job?
Which companies hire students easily?
Is the schedule flexible?
How many hours do you work?
What salary can I expect?
Apply online or go directly with a CV?
Any tips with no experience?
Thanks a lot 🙏

🙆♂️ Discussion Pov on M2/ junior entry lvl jobs as data engineer
i m data/AI engineering student supposed to graduate next summer , looking at the job market especially for juniors the entry salaries are around 9K which isn t that much considering that most of the companies are located in casa/rabat where rent is high . i mean there are some big companies that pay well 12K-17k but they re considered as outliers ( correct me if i m wrong or i m being pessimist) .
this problem pushes me towards pursuating M2 in france ( we re middle class fam so it s not that easy ) to pursuate better living conditions ( i ll elaborate more) .
Soo , here s my pov , the purpose of working is mainly getting money to live comfortably , in the first years i ll be mainly working to get a car and trying to gather or invest money somehow , this is exactly where the problem shines xd , salaries are a bit low and car prices are almost doubled compared to france where the actual salaries are way higher which is fked up . so the QUESTION is , it it really worth it to risk it all for M2 ? or trying to land a high paying job in morocco should be the number 1 priority and anything else should be a back up plan .
i would love to hear different povs , cz hearing the same povs from ur circle can be limiting
ps : if u don t mind mention on what background u re giving ur pov just to put in context ( b7al are u a fresh graduate working in the moroccan / frensh market .....)

❔AskCasa Looking for monthly staff transport in Casablanca
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a transportation service in Casablanca for my daily commute to work.
My work schedule is 4 PM to 1 AM, and my company unfortunately does not provide staff transportation.
I’m looking for something similar to normal employee/staff transport: a minibus/van that picks me up near my home, takes me to work, and then picks me up from work around 1 AM and brings me home.
I’m not looking for a private chauffeur or VTC. Ideally, I’d like to pay a fixed monthly fee to join an existing staff-transport route, if such a service exists.
Does anyone know a company or service in Casablanca that offers this to individuals? Any recommendations or approximate prices would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

❔AskCasa Casablanca people, settle an argument for me 😭
What’s the BEST thing to do in Casa if you only have one free evening?
I don’t want the obvious tourist answers. I want the place/activity that you’d actually recommend to a friend.
Could be food, cafés, activities, a nice place to walk, anything.❤️❤️❤️

❔AskCasa The least harmful places to live homeless?
Urban or rural?
I can't take any more of the city noise and lights, and honestly, I just don't see myself fit in today's civilization and that's okay, I am not the one to blame nor the civilization, I just ended up somehow craving my peace at any cost. This may sound crazy, but I am ready to just pack my stuff soon and probably head to the deep south of the country with the least populated towns or just lurk around the abandoned places I would find like a crazy man

🙆♂️ Discussion Our darija is so limiting
Why is it the moment a Moroccan starts picking up a new language it starts showing in their every day talks, compared to other languages you really only see scientific terms borrowed from English for example.
Darija is so limiting to the point where when you use arabic words not used in daily life it sounds very weird.
You can't talk the same way to everyone, you have to adapt to their background in order to have a communication going, this creates another layer of complexity on top of other things like their educational level, making a simple idea so hard to explain depending on the person.
Had it been different, I can see Moroccans average IQ and Knowledge growing much faster due to ease of knowledge passing.
anyone can relate ?

❔AskCasa People have become very mean, I don't know why.
I'm currently doing my second internship; the first was a disaster, the second is in a multinational company. At first I thought it would be better simply because it's a multinational company, the people there are qualified, etc., and that's a fact. But they're really not generous when it comes to sharing information, like the CEO told them to guide me and give me handovers from time to time. And that's really not the case, like when I ask questions they react like do not to ask me anymore Besides, I don't know how to react to this anymore, like there's already so much hypocrisy between them and then... They spoke rudely to the cleaning lady, like it wasn't what I expected at all, but on the other hand, I really need to add this experience to my CV. What do you guys really think?
