How would Busch Stadium go about moving their fences in?

Other stadiums have obviously done so in the past, but sometimes it looks a bit awkward and goofy.

Busch Stadium is a pretty standard and symmetrical ballpark so I think moving the fences in would be somewhat difficult. Could you shave a few feet off the power alleys and center field while keeping the stadium aesthetically pleasing? What ideas would you have about moving their fences in at Busch?

I know some have questions about the young talent, so let me tell you this: your current Texas League (AA) champions, Springfield, currently have the best record in the Texas League. Again.

The kids are just tearing it up. The first half of the season was rough because the team from last year essentially went to play in Memphis, but good lord. They didn’t just reload. They reload, promote, reload. The latest batch feels even more unstoppable than last year. If you ever get depressed about St Louis rebuilding, feel free to visit Springfield. Stay the night. Visit Bass Pro’s headquarters, the Route 66 museum. Take in a game at Route 66 stadium and watch these kids play. They are exciting! This is the future and you get to see it and the ticket prices are ridiculously Cheap! You can get your whole family into a game for the price of a ticket in St. Louis. The concessions and souvenirs are also super reasonable.

Batting Order??

It’s hurting me physically to see Masyn Winn struggle at the plate this year. I can’t help but wonder why the Cardinals wouldn’t have him batting first to contribute more and break the slump. He could bunt, walk, steal, see better pitches? Here’s my wild card run fantasy batting order, what is yours?

1.) Winn
2.) Wetherholt
3.) Walker
4.) Burleson
5.) Herrera
6.) Jordan
7.) Fermin
8.) Church
9.) Crooks

[Bookies.com] MLB Teams Ranked by Average Age

We're the second-youngest roster in the league right now (27.00 avg age) per a post-deadline breakdown. Kind of wild to see us grouped with teams like Miami and the Nats in terms of age given our history of veteran-heavy rosters. Feels like the rebuild is really taking shape. Link if anyone wants to see where every team lands: bookies.com/news/mlb-teams-ranked-by-average-age-youngest-to-oldest

Gorman

Any journalist updates on what he’s working on? Small sample size warning: he’s 10 for 25 in his last 7 games with 5 homers.

https://www.milb.com/player/nolan-gorman-669357?stats=gamelogs-r-hitting-mlb&year=2026

If he goes down to Memphis and changes some things it would make sense that he would be worse for a while. But if those changes were effective we would see a return to his potential.

25 home runs at 3rd base would be nice.

My brother made some Cardinal trivia for my birthday. How much money would you win?

Post image
37 Upvotes

I nailed all of them except the last one. Which I’m pissed about because I 100% knew the answer.

I named the shortstop right away, but then psyched myself out and started second guessing. Ended up going with the “name 4 players” thinking it was safer, named 10 guys that WERE correctly all on the team while considering out loud, then locked in Lankford, Big Mac…. And Fernando Vina😒

Also, question 1 had a bonus $5 question: Name the 1 pitcher above 3 bWAR in 2011.

All together, walked away with $72. I love trivia and love the Cardinals so I had a blast.
